A High Quality Notebook
This Field Notes Notebook is the best Reporter's notebook on the market. It's great for taking notes where space is limited.

Can't Work Without These
Anything made by Filed Notes is going to be extremely high quality and well thought out. These particular reporters notebooks are fantastic for my daily to-do list and general short notes. I love the size because it can fit in most of my pockets (width anyway) but there's still plenty of room to make a long list. It's also great to be able to fold the cover back and lay it down open.

Excellent Product
Exactly as advertised. Field notes always makes a great product. You can see the time put into the product. I didn’t give it an all 5 star because I don’t think Field Notes should cost what they do. That being said you’re paying for the name. They’re a bit pricy, but you get what you pay for mostly. Definetly big enough to get a lot on a page, but small enough to toss in your pocket or bag. Another great product from Field Notes.

This is a high quality product.
Field Notes are a high quality product. I first use Field Notes "on the fly" while visiting job sites. The paper and cover stock are tough and stand up well to rough use. In addition they fit comfortably my jacket pocket..

Just right
I expect to use up maybe four of these notebooks a year; so, every few months starting a fresh one. Because Field Notes has the right number of pages, even a new one is thin and light. I could buy a cheaper notebook that was fat and heavy; but why? I want a notebook that once it is in my jacket pocket I am not thinking about it. For my jeans pocket I prefer the most durable Field Notes Expedition notebook. • For me the Reporter's Notebook is the right format. The pages are tall and college-ruled; so, there is plenty of room for writing. The width fits nicely in one hand while I write with the other. When back at my desk it lays flat while I review my notes. • Everything is of good quality. The slightly heavier than normal paper takes any kind of pencil, pen or marker. I enjoy using a fountain pen with this. The round corners and the wrap-over cover keeps it from catching on anything. • And all the reporter's reference materials decorating the cover take me back to the days when I worked on my college newspaper. The flexible yet durable cover seems just right to me. And the pocket on the back cover is useful for keeping receipts, business cards, etc. • If all I cared about was price per page then this would not be my first choice. What I value, however, is how well this will be right for me. And by that measure this is what I choose.
