Wizards of the Coast Dungeons & Dragons Spellbook Cards: Creature & Npc Cards (D&d Accessory)

These cards make my life as a DM infinitely easier. No more scribbling stats out ahead of time, flipping through a book, or printing pages out before. These cards make running a game a complete dream, from erasing the most tedious aspects of prep, to making it so much easier to DM on the fly. They do not all have artwork on the back.

I see a lot of other reviews here complaining about how people expected all the cards to be illustrated, but the product description does indicate that only about a third of them are. The ones with illustrations are well done, it would have been nice if they all had art on them, but they're well-made, there's a good assortment of creatures and NPC's, you get your money's worth.

Contrairement aux autres sets que j'ai en ma possession de la même série, celle ci n'est qu'en 1/3 illustrée. Dommage pour un set de cartes qui devait m'aider à illustrer une campagne pour débutants.

As a GM these cards are great. Having your monsters laid out all at once during an encounter means you don't have to have lots of pdfs and/or books open around you during a fight. Or several page markers in a book. The cards are wrote in a form of shorthand however so only the modified is wrote for the stats so this can sometimes mean checking the book if something modifies a stat. No lore is wrote on the cards either. I have seen a lot of reviews complaining that not all the cards have art on. The only cards with art are the ones that have art in the book. I wasn't too worried about this but I can see why this has been a gripe for some people. Overall a great addition for a GM.
