This particular application was used in a 2.5L 5 cylinder VW Jetta MKV. The only thing I would nitpick on this is the orange gasket built on the filter is thicker than the MANN filter VW uses. This posed a bit of a challenger putting the airbox back together has quite a bit of force was needed to snap it back together. The benefit though to such a thick gasket is that it will provide a super tight seal with the box closed, not allowing any air to escape around the sides of the filter and only pass through it as intended. The filter element quality was also what you would expect from MAHLE, a bit heftier than the MANN and sturdier put together.
