I used this tool to create polymer clay earrings. The squeaking sound while cranking the handle was terrible. High pitched and loud and WD40 was no help. I gave up and ignored it since it was working fine otherwise. After a few uses the device became harder and harder to turn and get the clay out. I'm talking hand calluses hard to turn. I used it a total of maybe 5-10 times before it broke completely. The platform that actually pushes the clay up became askew last night and I cannot fix it.

Broke within 2 months of use. Was hard to crank from the beginning. It was grinding the metal the whole time. Invest in a better quality one if you really want to use one.

The metal alloy they use is super weak broke on my 2nd use. Garbage

I ordered this item for fondant work - I gave it 1 star because it worked, with a LOT of effort. Got it loaded, started turning handle, and it took so much effort my hand was cramping, and it was making a TERRIBLE loud squeaking sound with every turn. Cleaned it, tried using it again empty, making sure it was screwed on properly/not askew. . same effort required, and still just as loud. Any suggestions from seller??

I had another type and it was really hard to use, bought this one and it's sooooo easy.
