My daughter had to buy this book for her college-level history class and this was the best deal we found! WAY cheaper than anything else!

A very interesting read of one of the forefront travellers for the past.

Item was not as shown and looked old and used

Not entirely sure what I was expecting... but it was informative for sure.The mythical or extinct beasts mentioned were rather interesting.

The Description is fascinating in that it is a different view of the one presented by The Travels

I read this in a two-year program on the Middle Ages. Most of the book reads like a merchant’s catalogue or guidebook. The book was highly repetitive, lacking in insight, and a bore. It is a historical artifact.

The book became very repetitious after a point and I gave up reading it.
