Another item called junk
Received the drive formatted it for a Mac OS and found that a 250 GB drive would only become a 60 gb drive, called tried to reformat nothing changed I returned the drive do not buy this item

A Bit Problematic
I purchased this drive along with just the enclosure for backup of my Mac system. The drives have sensitivity to any cable movement at the connector and will dismount if moved a bit. OWC would redesign or replace the drive USB-C connector with a higher quality more red;iable connector...

Spectacular enclosure
This is the most solid drive enclosure I have ever purchased. Yes it is more expensive than many enclosures but the quality is heads and toes above others I have purchased. It appears to be machined out of one piece of aluminum. It is heavy for its size and conducts heat well to keep the NVMe drive operating at its optimal level. Oh and the speeds are just as advertised!. Highly recommend it and OWC as a company.
