Cheap, Decent quality & Good for running
I purchased these for the sole purpose of using whilst running/jogging as my current plugs kept falling out and i seemed to be spending more time fumbling around with my ears than trying to run. These worked well; stayed in place, decent-ish sound (Good enough whilst you're running anyhow) and a long enough cable to run down the top into the back pocket. The only downside is that when you're running into the wind, the shape of the actual ear plugs creates a whistle that travels straight down your ear canal. To counter it, i guess you could put a bit of tape over your ear, run backwards, or plan a different route which always faces away from the wind. None of these i've tried because i don't find it much of a nuisance.Slightly more bass response would be good, but for the price - they're a decent buy and i'm sure they'll have a decent life to them.

Very good.
I've bought two pairs of these now as they are very comfortable. The first pair broke after several months of daily use (up to 4 hours per day), I think a wire came loose in the jack or something and only one side of the hear phone was working. Other than that the earphones are very bendy and flexible (in a good way) so I don't think you'd ever normally break the plastic unless you really really gave it some serious twisting etc. After I broke the first pair of these I bought some different in the ear earphones but found them to be very painful etc so I bought another pair of these and now and they are much more comfortable (and don't fall out!). This pair may break in a few months too but I will defo buy another pair and would also recommend them to anybody else if you want a good pair of cheap, basic but very comfortable in-the-ear phones.Mark.

Absolutely Great Cans
I've had a pair of these for several years. They've always been my very special "best" cans, so when it came to using them as my studio monitor, I was a bit frightened my screaming Strat and Epi might blow them to bits. They didn't, of course, but 'just in case' I tried several other more robust looking cans, all of which did actually get blown to bits, so back to my faithful old Sonys, they make superb monitors. So for my next 'just in case' cans I went for the same, they can't be bettered. They're also very sensitive, so I can turn down the studio volume and still get very good volume from the cans, which makes for even better quality sound. Can't lose!Sony's website gave them as obsolete, so I bought two extra pairs from Amazon. They'll sit in their boxes in a drawer against that awful day...

They're fine.
I bought these headphones because I can never keep earphones in my ears, and I found it slightly embarrassing. These of course completely solve this whilst being very slim, lightweight and simple - and they stay on your head! The cable is quite a bit shorter than most earphones I've owned - I see this as a plus as there's less to get tangled, and as I only put it in my pocket, there's ample wire. Many people have been saying that it's great sound quality, but I've been dissapointed. They aren't as good as the earphones which came with my Cowon for free. Treble sounds great, but deeper sounds are lost a bit making you feel slightly distanced from the sound, lacking an intimacy between you and the music found from other headphones.Don't get me wrong, for £7 they sound good, but it's nothing better than what you'd expect from £7.I use them for when I'm walking, and because they're so lightweight I can just throw them in my bag without any worries, and at the low price I know nothing special will be missed if they break. For a pair of headphones which stay on your head and don't take up much space, for a low price - I highly reccomend them.

Still good but materials getting cheaper - no good for running ( for me )
I bought these to replace a pair I'd had for around ten years, and then lent to a teenage sibling, who then shut them in a car door within a couple of days. These are just a good sound wise, but the build quality is far poorer ( I realise that this is inevitable these days ) and this limits their use. They have less spring in them than the old pair and so keep popping out of my ears. These are very handy as laptop headphones for when I am working in music programs late at night, but when I go running in the morning, I'll have to use earbud headphones as these just don't stay in - or even on.Of course everyone has a different shaped head, but they weren't quite right for me and I hope this helps.
