Gallos Paperback – January 12, 2016

Holy parentage, they say children mimic their parentsand so is true with the Gallo siblings.The entire family is loving, compassionate and hot to trot.Right from the start I longed for a novella devoted to Sal and Maria Gallo.I paid attention to them throughout the Men of Inked series because I knew they had a steam filled marriage.As usual, the family has gathered for Sunday dinner and as Pa Gallosaid they couldn’t have arrived at a more inopportune time.Right before they arrived, Sal had Maria pinned against the kitchen counter, and youknew something hot was about to take place.Memories of the where and how Maria and Sal met are told and let me tell youSal was one hot dude.“They say we only get better when we age.” Maria smiled, touching my cheek with her soft fingers.“I can’t wait to see what the next thirty years holds, love,” I said, bringing her hand to my lips, kissing each finger tenderly as I drove. “Me either, Sal. There’s no one else I’d rather spend it with".

So I am no longer a Chelle Bliss virgin! I got this book for two reasons: 1) the author was recommended 2) it was free.Ok, I have to say it no one wants the idea of they're parents having sex in they're heads, every child knows they were found under a cabbage leaf!!That being said, this was not a old couple reminiscing how they came to be. This was a couple who still get weak in the knees and have butterflies in the stomach when the other walks into the room. It was refreshing to see to see a older couple who still, after 5 grown children and years together have passion for each other.Learning Sal and Maria's story was great. They were a great introduction to the Gallo family. Seeing a glimpse of their children through their eyes was sweet and this story did its job of wanting me to know more so I went and got book One.I'm hooked on the Gallo's and will be reading more, after I reassure myself my parents don't have sex, Lol!!

This is a preview of the Gallos.. Seriously its hard to rate a Novella that has maybe 5 chapters and ends at 67% but Bliss stays true to what this short story is about. Plus she gives us a teaser.The preview of the Gallos..Sal and Maria's kids. Joe aka City; Michael; Anthony ; Thomas and Izzy. Bliss gives us a glimpse of these characters great introduction to Men of Inked Series. Happy Reading!!

This was a wonderful introduction to the Gallo family. In just a few pages, it's clear the amount of love this family shares between siblings and the unconditional love Maria and Sal Gallo have for their children. In this quick story, we see how Maria hopes that her children will find the kind of love she found with their father. And grandbabies...she is REALLY ready for grandbabies.What's cute is to see how adamant that her grown children swear they aren't ready to settle down and then seem them nearly fall to their knees as they find the one person they can't live without.

The book accomplishes it's purpose which is to give an introduction to the Gallo family. It is very short, more of a vignette showcasing Sal and Maria, the Mom and Dad, in other words, the starting point. Interesting and pleasant as long as you don't expect a book length. Worth reading as it leads to the much more encompassing and very enjoyable books of the Gallo siblings who you meet very briefly here.

We loved this sweet but sexy little novella about Mr and Mrs Gallo. It was just what we needed while we were waiting for Uncover me. The relationship that they have together is so sweet. We definitely see who the boys take after and where Izzy gets her spunk from!This novella is hilarious and at times when Ma and Pops start showing affection we felt a little strange. After getting to know them in previous books it was so wrong but so right. We loved how the kids reacted to their parents affections, it felt like we were right at home with them.A great little addition to the series, bring on Uncover me!

The Men of Inked Series is absolutely a favorite of mine. Not only are the 4 full length novels wonderful, but so are the 3 novellas in the series, of which this is one.The Gallos- The Beginning is the story of Maria and Salvatore Gallo, the parents of the four men and one Gallo woman which the rest of the series is about. It tells about their love, from the beginning through present. They are both such loving and fun characters, you can’t help but love them yourself.My favorite theme in this novella is that love is ageless. The couple seems more in love with each other in the present day than when they first fell in love.This is a quick, sweet, yet still steamy read. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I am so excited to start this series! Reading The Gallos first gave me a great intro to all the characters I'm about to meet, and the family dynamic that binds them together. I hope to have Sal and Maria recur throughout the series. You can tell that the influence they have on their children is pure and deep love and devotion. I'm sure we'll see them again. Not much else to say, other than if you haven't started this read, begin with The Gallos. I may even have to re-read it when I'm done with the series!

A fantastic introduction to the Men of Inked series. It was great to read to more about the amazing parents that raised such incredible men and women. It was also great to read about enduring love over time and to see two people still so incredibly in love and not afraid to show it. Absolutely loved it!!

Really enjoyed the parents story about their kids and their hopes for them. Well done also for the sex scenes with the parents. Just cos they’re older doesn’t mean no sex. Well done.

It was a very short read and I'm glad it was free. I wouldn't pay for it in any instance. It was a lot of useless words. It could have been written in one chapter, describing the parents point of view and history. But no, the cussing was crude and the sex scenes were unnecessary and pointless. They didn't add any value to the story. I don't think I'll bother to read the series. It will be filled with excessive cussing,sex scenes and a narrow storyline. Not for me.

chelle nice quick read.Yes it does sound weird in places but do you no what I loved it. made me giggle and smile. how there passion for one another was stronger than ever. I hope my marriage stays like that 30yrs into our marriage.I love all of the gallo's books so far you're amazing writer it be sad when the books end I've got used to them now.***highly recommended read***review done by Louise 'loppylou' bailey book blog

I was rather embarrassed to think of salvatore and maria as actively sexual a bit like your parents having sex but once i could see them as individual i thought it was sweet and i could see where the alpha male dominant comes from in the children. Was lovely to see the powerhouse behind the rest of the series.
