Corporate finance for dummies

I got this book to understand finance basics so I could pass my CIA exam. I passed (yay!) and have a much better understanding of Finance than I used to. I have the book in my cube at work and refer to it quite often. There are a few pages with just ratios on them and it helped me “see” what the ratios were. For example, I was able to “see” that all the TO ratios had “average x” on the bottom and either sales/cogs/purchases on top and I was like OHHHH DUHHHHHHHH. This book was really helpful. Definitely get it if you’re looking to get an overall understanding of Finance.

Comprehensive, and makes finance more clear in your mind.

I bought this book to help me pass my business finance subject at uni and this book has helped me to get a HD, the explanations in the book about finance topics is easy to understand especially considering just how complex these topics are, I was able to understand the topics and use this understanding towards my uni prescribed textbook A must read for any business finance student

My son at who's a business major at PennState just started reading this book to get a headstart and understand the basic concepts of Finance. He says it's very easy read and quite thorough in explanations. This book is a good stepping stone who has never taken a finance class before. Good buy and very well priced!
