Buyer Beware!
A major design flaw with the back wheels means that as you ride the trike the wheels tighten up & barely turn - making it almost impossible for my daughter to pedal. I have reached out to the firm for a solution but nothing heard yet. If I don’t get a response soon I will be returning the item & asking for a full refund as the trike is totally unusable in its current state.

Great looking Trike spoiled by a lack of attention to detail
It came well packed and with basic instructions on assembly. On unpacking there was a small dent on the front mudguard and the valve caps were missing, but otherwise intact. Assembly was simple enough, but i can't help feeling this product is spoiled by a lack of attention to detail. I also, think there are design flaws that could easily be remedied. The front wheel tyre valve is impossible to get to because of the solid decorative plate and it being short. I purchased a valve extension to cure that. The head-stock for me, is too slack. I've built hundreds of bikes and the steering tube shouldn't rock back and forward at all. They have a plastic bushing, but it isn't sufficient and no matter how tight you clamp the steering bar clamp, it still rocks a tad too much. The way the centre fram spar attaches to the rear axle is poor too. It would be stronger if it went over the rear axle; not under it and secured by one bolt and two pathetic self-tapping screws. Just my opinion - hope it helps!

BUYER BEWARE
I gave the trike 1 star because it LOOKS the part. We took my son out on it and everyone stops and admires it. But... its NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. As another buyer commented- the back wheels don't turn and it is a glorified scooter now! I have tried to find contact details for Schwinn- but I cant find anything! And its over the 30 day return window so I am stuck with a faulty product and a confused little boy who doesn't understand why is trike doesn't work!

Well worth the little extra money for a quality trike
Wonderful little trike.Very sturdy and well made with quality at its heart. Will last for years. You won’t be disappointed . It’s also a turner as it’s really retro. The sort of bike only posh kids had when I was a youngster! Real blow up tyres and mudguards. 5 *

Beautiful trike! My daughter loves it!Didn't have dust caps for the wheel valves through so with in the first 20mins she was letting the air out of the tyres... Couple of stickers were a bit rippled where they've been place over screw heads or on curves but appart from that - it so cool! Wish it was big enough for me!
