National Geographic United States Wall Map - Decorator - Laminated (Enlarged: 69.25 x 48 in) (National Geographic Reference Map)

As advertised. The laminate surface is thick enough that the stickers I put on and occasionally have to take off do nothing to mar the finish. It came in a tube and I reverse-rolled it and left it that way for a day to take the curl out before hanging it on a cork board and that did an excellent job of making it lay flat.

This map is a perfect size and is very readable. The only issue I had with this is that I can get crease marks in it but only if you store it incorrectly. We have used this to mark out all of the places we have traveled to and we also used it to keep track of all of the places I had applications out at. This would be a perfect gift for anyone who is into travelling.

I bought this map as part of a crafty present I am giving to a loved one for Christmas. The map arrived in a hard cardboard tube three days after I ordered it. It is stunning and the lamination isn't too thick nor cheap. It is perfect for the project I am working on. The colors are bright and the map itself is surprisingly detailed.

nice size well made , just would have liked a more detailed road system of the secondary roads of the US . It was bought to help us travel the states on roads less traveled . More roads would have helped , but it is up on our wall and enables us to look at various ways to go to various places .

I bought this map and the world map, both lamented and national geographic. Several people have asked where I bought them because they want to buy the same thing for their children. They came in perfect condition and look like they'll hold up for years.

I sell products around the US and we needed a map to identify the locations where are customers are and where we needed more business from and this map works out very well for us. Each state is color coded so its easy to see and the laminated cover helps to keep the map fresh and the ends won't curl up.

This is a good map, though some of the text becomes a bit hard to read, and I wish it was 1/4 bigger. But the laminating makes it pretty strong and resistant to attentions from toddlers. I used Command velcro-like strips to hang it, and my 3-year old love to talk about where our relative live across the country.

Very readable but material is a thin Mylar material. When I used push pins to place on wall, they easily tore from the weight of the map.

Packaging was not good enough to prevent damage. Map came rolled in a very weak cardboard tube that got damaged en route. The map is thinly laminated and had obviously suffered from the transport. Keeping it anyway. The map itself is decent enough, though I feel the colors are a bit too dark, making it slightly difficult to read.
