Here’s what really impressed me: the quality rivals top-tier, far more expensive brands, yet it comes at a significantly lower price point. Each serving gives you 19g of pure micellar casein, which digests slowly to provide a steady stream of amino acids over several hours. This is exactly why casein is so valuable, it’s ideal before bed or between long gaps in meals, keeping your muscles nourished while you rest. In my experience, I’ve noticed reduced nighttime hunger and I wake up feeling less hungry in the morning — clear proof that it’s doing its slow-release job. I'm perplexed by the bad reviews and complaints about taste and mixability. Reading those, I expected a foul tasting clumpy concoction similar to unflavored BCAA or EA powders. What I actually got is a pure casein powder, that looks just a bit coarser and darker than their Whey. Mixing with half milk and half water, this Casein powder tastes amazingly clean, similar to Now Sport's Excellent unflavored whey isolate powder. The taste is naturally more milky than why isolate but nothing unpleasant in the slightest. Mixability is great in a Blender Bottle(with the metal ball), and the texture of the end product is smooth and creamy. I haven't bothered to check for any residue at the bottom of the bottle, but if it's there I couldn't care less as it would get lost in all the cacao powder, flax, and chia seeds that I typically add to my protein shakes. Regarding the effects, I absolutely trust Now's lab work and label, so it works as well as any other pure casein supplement. TLDR, highly recommended great tasting casein powder from a well-respected brand, makes me a happy (and returning) customer.

Old school vitamin company that started selling sports nutrition several years back. Great quality. It's unflavored so ofc it's not going to taste wonderful. But mixed with, e.g. vanilla yogurt, it tastes just fine.
