Does it work on hardwood floors?

Yes it has a rubber bottom works on almost all surfaces, they also have one with an alarm on it

It breaks at the head which is made of plastic. From where can i purchase the spare head. And do you have a durable head for replacement?

Well I believe anything can break but I would imagine it can be replaced and I can find out for sure if you could give a couple days
