Avoid! Full of half hearted cliches
On page 29 he credits Jefferson for "exploiting an opportunity". The author has literally reversed cause and effect. The entire idea was Napoleon's brainchild. From Napoleon's perspective he was avoiding war with US and setting up US to keep Britain busy. Further his idealism to see Western values flourish"This accession of territory affirms forever the power of the United States."—Napoleon, after the Louisiana Purchase treaty was signed, 1803This was not an opportunity exploited you would have had to have been the most idiotic person in the world to have actively resisted this. That that didn't even have to be paid as a lump sum it was set up as a bond payable over an extraordinary long Of time.Basically it was double your country for free offer. I think if he hadn't accepted he would have been impeached. This might have just been tacked on by the author but it's just so foundationally wrong it makes me question anything else in the book

Absolutely loved this book. A thoughtful, thorough review of important things current and aspiring Startup CEOs need to know to be successful, Blumberg's book is an essential guide. From aligning your company around values, to how to think about fundraising, to what to do when you need to fire an underperforming team member, this book offers both high-level visions and zooms in to share the details needed.
