Q: What are the dimensions of the seat size?

Nominally 18.5" x 12.5". The seat consists of nylon, with a foam-like pad about 1/4" thick, attached to two 1" thick aluminum side beams. If you exclude these beams, the seating area is 16.5" wide. Its construction keeps the nylon seat fairly stiff. At 160lbs. I can sit on it comfortably off and on for several hours at a stretch.

Q: Does the foot bar lock on both sides? I purchased this chair and the foot bar opposite of the hinged does not lock.

No. Looking at the chair from the front, on the left side the main footrest bar sits in a small plastic pocket that supports it when the chair is folded open. When you fold the chair the bar pivots up and to the right.

Q: Does the tall chair come with portable case?

yes, it comes with a case so you can carry it easily.

Q: Is the finish on the metal pieces matte? I'm trying to minimize reflections on a green screen photo shoot.

It’s not matte finished but the metal is black
