Un libro molto utile per migliorare il proprio vocabolario. Mi piace molto il formato: piccolo, tascabile, leggero.

Desde o momento em que abri “Merriam-Webster’s Vocabulary Builder”, fiquei impressionado com a riqueza e a profundidade do conteúdo. Este não é apenas um livro; é uma jornada através do vasto universo das palavras. O que mais me cativou foi a maneira como cada seção não apenas apresenta palavras novas, mas as tece em histórias e contextos que fazem o aprendizado ser algo vivo e vibrante. O estilo de escrita é claro e acessível, tornando-o ideal para qualquer pessoa que esteja procurando expandir seu vocabulário, independentemente do nível de habilidade. A inclusão de etimologias e exemplos práticos ajuda a compreender não apenas o significado das palavras, mas também a sua origem e uso em diferentes contextos.

I am on a journey of self improvement and being more eloquent is one of my goal for 2026. The vocabulary builder is designed to introduce new words to your vocabulary as well as how to use them. So far I have been introduced to some new words and there is a comprehension to assess if you understood the words and an answer sheet at the back of the book. Issue 1: I wish the book had part of speech similar to dictionary. This can be deduced from reading the examples but I still wish it was there from the beginning. Issue 2: if your vocabulary is already extensive, this may not be the book for you since alot of the words may already be in your everyday vocabulary.
