The quality is impressive right from the start—the botanical formula is strong enough to keep rodents away, yet it’s safe for our kids and pets when used as directed. Functionally, it’s been fantastic; I’ve noticed a big reduction in rodent activity in our basement and garage since I started using these pouches, and I love that it works without traps or harsh chemicals. The appearance is convenient and neat—small pouches that are easy to tuck away wherever you need them, without creating a mess or drawing attention. On top of it all, the fresh herbal scent is a huge plus and much better than the typical chemical odor of other products. For the price, I think Fresh Cab offers excellent value for a natural, effective solution. I definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable and safe way to keep their home rodent free! I have a motorhome and periodically find nests in the engine space. They haven't eaten the wire..yet.** A: Someone posted using dryer sheets. I'm in the automotive repair business. We laugh when we see the mice have used the dryer sheets to build nests in cars. This is a common suggestion but it does not work. Use the Fresh Cab product. It is a proven deterrent. Use it in your engine compartment. Hint; mice like dark places to build nests. Put the Fresh Cab pouch's in the engine compartment but leave the hood in the fully open position. **Q: what is the main ingredient?** A: Active ingredients: Balsam Fir Oil, which is a botanical pesticide 2.0 %. Inactive ingredients Fragrance oil and plant fibers 98.0%This is rite off the box it came in. I use them in my camper, after a winter when field mice tore it up, havent seen any in the last 3 years. Product works great. **Q: Do I really need this product in Florida......** A: If you don't have pests, you don't need it, regardless of where you live. **Q: Can I use it inside apartment or not? Here description reads "the only approved FDA to use inside", but on actual box reads "use in non-living areas".** A: I used several bags in our seasonal home and put them in the corners or closets where the mice liked to run. The smell is not overpowering and I used 2 boxes for the lower 600 feet of the home. No mice now for 2 months and I stayed down there for 3 days during hunting season. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Effective, Safe, and Pleasantly Scented—Peace of Mind for Our Home! *by A***S on November 30, 2025* I’m extremely pleased with Fresh Cab Rodent Repellent. We spend $7000 on our tractor where mice chewed all the wires. Now we use these in the tractor and no mice whatsover. Wish we would have known to use these sooner! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ So far so good! *by Y***H on April 15, 2014* I usually get a few kitchen mice come winter, but this past year was especially bad. In the past I was able to deter the little guys with Bounce sheets and rigorous cleaning, but that method had stopped working: every morning from November 2013 until two weeks ago (beginning of April 2014) there were droppings in my pantry and/or on my counter tops regardless of how well I scrubbed them. In a fit of desperation I decided to give Fresh Cab a try, and since putting one pouch under my pantry cabinet and one behind my microwave two weeks ago, nary a mouse turd has been seen. I was honestly shocked at how well and how immediately this stuff seemed to work after the mice had been so persistent for so long, but there's no other explanation. Aside from the packets actually working, the woodsy Fresh Cab smell is also much less weird to have around food/in the kitchen than the heavy Bounce scent was. The smell is also VERY noticeable -- I think I'll be able to tell easily when it's time to replace them, though I still took another reviewer's tip and write the date I opened the pouch on the tag so I could remember when to replace it, which I plan to do regularly. I can only hope it keeps working this well! **UPDATE 1** I finally saw evidence of mice again about four weeks after I initially put down the Fresh Cab pouches. To be fair, I'd noticed that I could no longer smell the pouches by that time -- and as soon as I replaced them, the mice left again. Now I know for sure that each bag lasts just about four weeks before it needs to be replaced. **UPDATE 2** This stuff seriously stops working like it's on a timer: once four weeks have passed since I put down a new pouch, I start seeing droppings again. Still, when this stuff is fresh out of the box, nothing else can touch its efficacy (I had actually switched briefly to using peppermint oil to deter the mice, but it did nothing to keep them away -- if anything it seemed to attract them! They showed up the day I put it down). Fresh Cab remains my go-to, even if it does get a bit pricey to keep stocked. ## Frequently Bought Together - Fresh Cab Rodent Repellent - Botanical Pest Control for Indoor Use - Safe for Kids & Pets When Used As Directed - Made with Plant Fibers, Balsam Fir Essential Oil & Fragrance - 4-Pack - Mighty Mint Peppermint Oil Rodent Repellent Spray – Natural Indoor & Outdoor Control for Mice and Rats – Plant-Based, Extra-Strong Formula - 16 oz - 2025 Upgraded Ultrasonic Repeller & Insect Indoor Repeller,Ultrasonic and Repellent for Roach,Rodent,Mouse,Bugs,Mosquito,Mice,Spider,Ant,3 Mode Switching,6 Packs --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.lk/products/27824510-fresh-cab-botanical-rodent-repellent-environmentally-friendly-keeps-mice-out](https://www.desertcart.lk/products/27824510-fresh-cab-botanical-rodent-repellent-environmentally-friendly-keeps-mice-out) --- *Product available on Desertcart Sri Lanka* *Store origin: LK* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
