Purchased this to replace part of an Oak side table where I'd rubbed a bit too far with the sandpaper whilst renovating! All 6 sheets were in immaculate condition, no cracks or dried out patches, really can't find fault at all. Really pleased with the purchase. Can't believe the reviewer that said they weren't fit for purpose as they were so thin :-) OMG - Call the police, I bought some Veneer and it was thin, shock horror. Some people shouldn't be allowed to write product reviews! Purchase this Veneer with confidence, it's absolutely beautiful when finished with a good Danish oil.

I had high hopes for this, especially with it being advertised as real oak. The grain looked good, and it definitely has that classic oak feel — but the thickness was disappointing. Even though I saw the listed measurements, it still felt surprisingly flimsy when it arrived. Unfortunately, it didn’t take much pressure for it to snap. It just wasn’t up to the task, which is frustrating when you’re working with a material like oak that’s meant to be tough and long-lasting. I also found that it didn’t absorb oil as well as I’d hoped — I tried conditioning it to bring out the grain and give it a bit of protection, but it just didn’t take the oil properly. Shame really, because visually it had potential. But in practice, it’s just too thin to be useful for much.

i thought these were thicker but they are paper thin and very fragile unfortunetly couldnt use them for anything

Nit sure what i expected but these were rippled and after weeks of trying to flatten gave up and thought gluing might get them out, but no. Maybe my fault as never used before but disapointed

Does what it says in the tin

The sheets are delicate, but are ok as long as you treat them gently. However, I bought them to patch a hole in an item of furniture, the hole was square and I assumed the sheets were also, however when all glued up a fitting them it was clear that they were off, resulting in gaps in the repair and disappointment.
