ESP LSN200HTRSW Solid-Body Electric Guitar, Snow White

This is a great intermediate level guitar. The quality is better than you can expect for this price point. Very solid and it plays well. I wanted a fixed bridge strat syle guitar, with a rosewood fretboard, a bridge humbucker and black hardware. Believe it or not there are not a lot of guitars to choose from with that criteria. I happened upon this one and I'm very satisfied. The only thing I want to pass on to any prospective buyers of this guitar and the only thing about this guitar I wasn't quite expecting is the fretboard. I wanted a rosewood or ebony board initially, the only thing I was certain of was that I didn't want maple or any light colored wood mainly to keep this guitar as black and white as possible for the color contrast. This guitar has that Pau Ferro fretboard that I have little experience with, it looks and plays nice but it is not as dark brown as I had hoped, like my other rosewood and ebony fretboard guitars. The pictures on the LTD website and those used in this listing appear much darker than this guitar is in reality. If you have an expectation of a dark brown, almost black fretboard, you might be put of by the regular brown fretboard that you get when this shows up. Even now, a quick google image search shows them all looking pretty dark brown like rosewood to me, except maybe the 5th image on there. I look over on my wall and it is clearly not as dark as all the pictures. Overall, ordering this blind and unplayed and relying on nothing but past experience with this brand I am very satisfied. It does what I need it for nicely and is worth every penny, other than you know the neck not being as dark as I expected.

Love this guitar! Sounds like a 700$ fender. And i like the neck on this better than the fenders too. Couldn't be happier.
