**Q: How much, as in square inches or feet, of vinyl cushions will one 15 oz tube clean?**
A: Plenty. Like at least the entire car seats of three or four  average size cars.

**Q: After applying the cleaner ,should it be rinsed off ?**
A: Yes, in most cases. Per their website:

APPLICATION:
1.  Apply SEM Soap to a gray scuff pad
2. Scrub panel thoroughly until surface is clean and finish is dull
3. Rinse with water. 

Note: When cleaning leather or vinyl, do not rinse with water. Instead, wipe away SEM Soap with a clean, damp towel to remove all residue. Allow to fully dry then repair or refinish according to manufacturer’s instructions

**Q: this type of soap was recommended to clean the plastic in a car. Better than dish soap. true???**
A: I have always had good luck using Dawn dish soap for cleaning, except maybe for unwanted excess sudsing. However when I had to refinish my vinyl boat cushions using the SEM vinyl paint, I called SEM in South Carolina. They said the reason to use their soap over regular dish soap to pre-clean the vinyl was because it left no residue. Apparently, with added ingredients, dish soap does. And obviously any residue will prevent the paint from adhering properly.

**Q: Would this product work well to clean vinyl that's become tacky due to age?**
A: Maybe. Mine was dirty, but not tacky. This recoating system worked excellently. Two years and boat seats still look like new.
