Works Great
I actually did not know that puzzle sorters existed. I first went shopping for little plastic boxes, but couldn’t find anything for a reasonable price. I had my husband get a piece Masonite for me to use to build my puzzles on so I can move them to another room. (I learned later there are mats!). I was using various boxes, all different sizes to sort the puzzle pieces, and they did not work well for moving to a different room. So I saw this product on Amazon and decided to try it. These are very sturdy plastic. I build 1000 piece puzzles. The puzzle pieces fit in the six trays. A puzzle with more pieces would require 2 sets of these. The only thing I would change is to have 8 boxes in order to sort the colors a bit better. They stack easily and fit back in the original box with all the pieces. They also fit together like a puzzle next to each other. The box they come in is a very sturdy cardboard box and should last for a bit if treated well. Easy to clean up and put away until I find time to work on it again. Considering getting another set, but I don’t really need 12 trays. I recommend this product for keeping your puzzle project organized and easy to put it away when necessary.

Make puzzle piece sharing easier 🧩
I thought this was just a frivolous purchase, it is a GAME CHANGER! As a color-first puzzler who struggles to puzzle with others, this allows you to organize and divide the pieces and move around a puzzle more. No more all your pieces are stuck on the other side! Just…swap trays with your puzzle partner every so often and you are set. I love the quirky puzzle piece shape and they stack really well on top of each other. Any time I’m bringing a puzzle to a cabin, these trays are coming too!

Great for puzzles and LEGOs
I got this on sale for $7, which was the only reason I bought it. That said, I am pleasantly surprised at how useful this product has been. It’s excellent for puzzles since you can sort pieces but also stack the containers together for easy storage if you need to stop working or are moving your puzzle to a new location. We also found it extremely useful for building LEGOs. Same concept and just as effective in this use case. I wouldn’t pay full price but if you see it on sale it’s worth it. Also makes a great gift for the puzzle or LEGO enthusiast in your life!

Not quite as helpful as I had hoped
Before I brought the "Ravensburger Puzzle Sort and Go Jigsaw Puzzle Accessory", I had been using food storage containers to keep my puzzle pieces organized. They worked pretty well, but then I saw this product and thought I'd treat myself. It's a nice idea, but the product does have some flaws that make it less than ideal for storing puzzle pieces. The main drawback I find is that the trays are too shallow. I mainly work on 500 piece jigsaw puzzles, so had thought I'd be fine with this product (which is said to be for up to 1,000 piece puzzles). However, what I found was that the trays are shallow and the pieces kept spilling over the edges. Also, when the pieces got to near filling the trays, the trays didn't stack neatly and seemed a little wobbly. Of course, this problem all depends on how you divide your puzzle pieces. In the most recent jigsaw I have been working on, I split the pieces into sky, cat, trees/grass, buildings, and miscellaneous. All the trays were full almost to overflowing and did not stack easily. The cat pieces were so many that I had to spread them between two of the trays - one for the main body, and the other tray for the "outline". The trays themselves seem fairly sturdy, and are quite cute. I liked the puzzle shaped design of the trays. They are quite large, and if you don't use all six trays for storing puzzle pieces, you can always use one of the trays to assemble small parts of your jigsaw and save them out of the way until they can be fitted into the main puzzle. As long as the trays are not too full, they stack quite well. But it is a bit of a pain if the tray you need is at the bottom of the stack - you'll have to unstack all the other trays first before you can get to it. There are no lids for the trays, so you'll need to take care when unstacking the trays. One particular problem I have is that whilst I can work around there not being a lid for each of the trays, I'd at least have liked a lid for the topmost tray. Otherwise, it's all too easy to knock everything over - especially when the trays are nearly overflowing. Whilst the trays do stack nicely together, they don't really lock. When I'm not using them, I carefully stack the trays (with puzzle pieces) inside the packaging that they came in. Then I put the packaging lid on so that everything is secure. This works to keep everything neat and organized, and mains the trays can easily be moved without risk of them falling over or anything. But if the trays are slightly too full, they don't stack snugly and then the box lid of the packaging won't fit on neatly. I'd really have liked some sort of lid, and maybe even some way to "lock" the trays together so that they remain as one whole unit and can be safely moved around. This probably doesn't offer enough to be worth buying, but it would make an excellent gift. I'd have been a little happier with my purchase if it had cost $9.99, but $14.99 is a bit too much.

Great for sorting larger puzzles! A must have
This really is a must for larger puzzles. However, wish the trays had a little bit more depth to them to hold more. I am able to store 2 levels of puzzle pieces in each tray, with the pieces flat on top of each other. The other trays stack on top and fit in the box with no issues if you do not have more than 2 layers of flat puzzle pieces in each tray. If you have the puzzle pieces just strewn in there and not laying flat, or try more then 2 or 3 levels of flat puzzle pieces in each tray, the trays do not stack on top of each other well, and you cannot fit in the box without the lid of the box not sitting fully on the bottom box. Another thing to mention is that while it holds a decent amount, it is by far not big enough for a 1,000 piece puzzle. ID say its perfect for a 500 piece or smaller. However, despite the flaws I noticed as long as you just sort say half of the puzzle pieces and try to focus on smaller areas, you can keep the puzzle pieces you are not sorting or using at the time in the box or in some tupperware bowls, etc. This is what I do for my 1,000 piece puzzles. I am actually considering buying a second so that I have enough room for all my pieces for my 1,000 piece puzzles without having to use bowls, tupperware or other containers. I would highly recommend to get these sorting trays as it makes it much easier to keep your sorted pieces seperate from one another. And they fit together side by side so it does not waste a lot of space

It does exactly as you need. You get six trays to hold jigsaw pieces OR also game tokens, for a board game. It's nothing fancy or complicated. Just size moulded trays which stack and can live in the supplied box. But... I had to wash the first two trays as they had some strange powder on them. I presume cardboard dust or perhaps sand of some kind from when moulded.
