SCHARFFEN BERGER 62% Cacao Semisweet Dark Chocolate Bar, 3 Ounce

I have purchased this product twice from Amazon, the first time it shipped from the company, it was fabulous. It was exactly what I expected. The nibby bar, skirts a fine line between milk and dark chocolate. The cocoa nibs give the milk chocolate a lovely dark chocolate depth. It is the best of both worlds.The second time I ordered my order did not ship from the company, it shipped from another seller. Every was busted, the chocolate was bloomed, and it tasted terrible. This product is too pricey for that to be acceptable. I requested a refund, and purchased a replacement order directly from the manufacturer's website.I will definitely buy the product again, it's one of my favorite chocolates, whether I buy it through Amazon is totally dependent on the seller.

I love chocolate, especially dark and semisweet. I wanted to try this brand since it gets so many rave reviews online. I found it very good, but no different than other leading brands. I tried very hard to look for the subtle differences, but I found nothing at all to warrant the price.

I used to eat this brand huge amounts when it was Sprouts, and sadly then they discontinued. Found it on a good enough sale to pick up again and not disappointed. The robust pungent chocolate flavor is stellar beating brands like Chocolove, Divine, and Green and Blacks. I actually preferred the 70% variety, the 82% is excellent too.Bars were in good shape received. Wish they were still in wide circulation

Good chocolate - just good, not great. (For me, the gold standard is Cadbury Dairy Milk, but only the bars made in the UK - the US/Canada versions are nothing like the real thing). Good tasting, but not a great texture and not super rich or chocolatey. Certainly better than most US chocolate, but pretty high-priced for what you get.

A little expensive but great chocolate. Very smooth and I don’t typically like dark chocolate but this is amazing.However I would not buy from this company again- “trusted online superstore” because the chocolate came broken into about 15 pieces because of poor shipping.

For how expensive this chocolate is, it should be mailed out with more care!It cost me $74.00
