I really do like the product…I am disappointed because it is split in the middle where the thread is joined need repairs at the moment.

Super easy to assemble. All the parts were there, all the holes lined up.It feels sturdy and well made. There are no rough or sharp parts left over, and all staples are perfectly flat. The lock for the back feels like a much better quality than a click clack sofa I paid £100 more for years ago.It's comfortable enough and feels like it would be good for posture while sitting. It feels slightly cushioned and springy (I'm 7 1/2 stone) I mention my weight because I feel the cushioning and springiness is going to be dependent on your weight.I recently bought a new mattress from Ikea that is akin to sleeping on concrete and this is actually more comfortable than that, firm but with a nice amount of give to it so it's not like lying on a rock. (I haven't slept on it, only lay on it for a minute or 2 to test it out)I'm 5 foot 4 and I fit on this well leaving a few inches free behind my head. I think a few more inches beyond that might see your feet start to go off the edge if you sleep lying straight out.The fold-out part on the back with the cup holders is not as flimsy as I thought it was going to be and has a really nice amount of cushioning which is what holds it when it is in the upright position. It's easy to position it up or down and it doesn't feel like it will come loose over time.Now to the reason I subtracted one star. It looks low to the ground to me (which is my only complaint and not a hugely important one). I bought it as a Christmas gift for a man who has recently developed a marked decline in mobility and he won't attempt the stairs anymore. He's been sleeping for 2 months now collapsed over on a 2 seater sofa which is far from ideal and he swears that this is not too low to the ground. He isn't polite at the best of times so I don't know, It looks low to me though.It's only been set up for about 1 hour so I can't say how it will fare over time, but for the price, I'm happy with the build quality and the perceived comfort of it. It's better than the more expensive fold-out sofa I had years ago, and comfier than my Ikea mattress. The only thing I'd be careful with is your height if you like to sleep lying straight out and your weight for sitting because at some point the cushioning is going to be non-existent and you're going to find yourself pressed up against the wood. I'd *guess* somewhere around 11 or12 stone will see the cushioning not support you very well. (Since your weight will be evenly distributed for lying down I wouldn't know what to guess at for that.)

It’s not the most comfortable sofa. But for the price you wouldn’t expect it to be. Nice design, looks very minimalistic. Single person only when used as a bed. Cup holders work!
