Tenkara USATapered Nylon Fly Fishing Line

I was very hopeful that this would cast & turn over like a weight forward fly line. Please let me know if I’m doing something wrong, but even after multiple passes with a leader straightener this line holds memory worse than cheap monofilament - to the point that it’s virtually impossible to get a decent cast. Guess I’m sticking to furled line.

Great quality line. I've had it stuck in brush, pulling a heavy fish, and put it to test. Works great!

Been using level line since I started I bought one furled line didn't care for it saw this and picked up the longer length for my tusa amago and man this line is great it cast really nice now the amago with this line is my favorite rod I just picked up there shorter length for my mizuchi can't wait to try it out on that rod also !

A bit stiffer than I’d expected. Throws well though and Tenkara USA only sells tried and tested gear. Perhaps the line will loosen up when weather warms..

Frankly I don't know what I'm doing, so it's awesome to have a a line pre-cut to the length for which my Tenkara USA rod was designed.
