Simple and easy to put on
Worked and was a perfect fit by external hoses to clamp. I’m sure you’ll figure that out in YouTube videos but definitely five star rating cleared my code.

Vapor canister
I was concerned about the quality b cause the cost was much lower than local. But the part fit perfectly and the pickup is running fine with no engine light. Can’t get better than that.

Good part, fits 2007 Silverado classic 1500
It fits great on my 2007 Silverado classic 5.3L. The shipping on the part was 2 days later than advertised. Otherwise it seems like a quality part and the price is a lot cheaper than the local parts store. -1 star for the shipping.

Part is WORSE than one I was replacing - BUY ELSEWHERE
I replaced this Canister and vent valve Solenoid, my canister wasn't showing signs of being clogged or having issues, but went ahead and ordered it anyways. Before replacing I had a studder/misfire at idle caused by running rich from the vent valve solenoid being bad (This can be a symptom of bad canister too). Long story short, a heavy rainfall and a flooded bridge I drove through and killed my vent valve solenoid. I decided to go ahead and replace the canister but didn't check as bad. I put on the new canister, and immedietely went to fill up. Every $0.20-$0.60 worth of gas it shuts off from the tank not being able to vent, truck runs but sluggish and misfires still. Edit: I have done a further inspection and found out they sanded off the previous original part numbers are on my oem canister (see photo) These are BAD REFURBS. STAY AWAY. They are not using the correct type or activated carbon pellets and these WILL FAIL in 24hours. I put my old (slightly clogged) one back on and all my misfires and running rich issues went away immediately. I can refuel and my truck is idling smooth, and the sluggishness is gone now that my air fuel ratio is corrected (Scan tool verified AFR is perfect now) JUST BUY THE GOOD BRAND (ACDELCO) PLEASE. If they don't give me a refund I'm going to open this thing up and post the contents inside for everyone to see.

The unit works and its essentially plug and play. I reset the check engine light and went for an hour drive with no issues. I'm not sure if it was placebo but i did feel a performance difference, albeit the old unit was FULL of dust and debris. if you're buying this for an 2003 gm with the unit above the tank, you can do it without lifting the bed but its a hassle. this unit wasnt a 1-1 match with the older one and i wasn't able to mount it in the same location but it might be a different story if you lift the bed. Everything considered I'm happy with the purchase.
