These do the job as in cooling the feet, however, they are really heavy & don’t go on the foot all the way so this makes them quite uncomfortable to wear

I had no idea how good hands and feet are at regulating body temperature.I used to carry a water spray and fans but I have found these to be much more effective.I have a temperature regulating problem and I found I was coping better than other people on a hot day.

I'm leaving this review for the hot/warm function. I have been blessed with Raynauds disease and it's decided to effect my toe's predominantly this year, also with the time of year where it's getting warmer I didn't want to spend a fortune in thermal clothing, I just wanted something to defrost my fingers and/or toes when it gets all too much! It sounds crazy but I have based this review on one slipper, because I literally just wanted to see how well it heats up and incase of mishap in the microwave! I put it in for 30 secs at a time in total of 90 secs, which I felt was hot enough and to avoid any mishaps. I popped it on a foot with a thick sock on and I found it warming and my toe's started to warm and my toe's have started to defrost! Then I did the same on the other foot! I bought them to warm my fingers as well as being I thought I could pop my fingers in as being they are a little oven mitt like!? And they work for me for this purpose as well, the only issue is my hand got a little sweaty! I have size 4/5 feet that are very narrow so wearing a sock to absorb moisture is not a problem, so I can't comment if it would work for someone with a larger foot (and hands), and I can't comment on how long the warming effect lasts for because it's a little subjective. These slippers are not designed to walk in! They are designed to sit with or rest with! The grips on the bottom are designed to stop your foot slipping whilst sitting, also the gel pads are on the top of the slipper and the base of the slippers so there is good coverage!
