Office Star TEX Traditional Executive Adjustable High Back Chair with Brass Finish Nail Trim Upholstery, Royal Cherry Finish Wood-Covered Steel Base, Black Vinyl

My 250 pound seat fully approves of the quality and thickness of this chair's seat/lumbar padding.It came in a MUCH smaller box than I expected. (I double checked the model number on the box, before I opened it). A similar chair we ordered came in a box over a foot taller. The other chair had the seat, arms and back made together. This chair has the back and seat as separate parts that connect with two allen screws (wrench included). The lumbar section, which is thickly padded, then Velcros securely into place. The other chair we had ordered was in blood red pu leather that is smoother (more plastic-ee) and already feels thin in a couple of places on the ends of the arms, after only 1 1/2 years use. Conversely, this Office Star chair's Black PU Leather feels thicker and more closely resembles real leather. It feels like the Carressoft PU, which is very durable, in our experience (ten years no rips or tears). This chair swivels but does not recline. If you loosen (counter clockwise) the giant knob, it will tilt back so you can put your feet on your desk. The only iffy part for me (did I say 250lbs?) is the plank that attaches the chair to the lift mechanism. I have leaned from side to side in a similar chair and broken this very part. But, I solved the problem by tracing the bottom of the chair onto a 2'x2'x 3/4'' plywood and some 2" screws from Home Depot. But, I am not complaining, especially at this price. This is an astonishing value given the high quality pu leather, stitched upholstery, and brass head nails on the arms, and the copious padding. It looks and feels luxurious, like a much, much more expensive Executive or Judges Chair .

The chair arrived with 2 wheels missing. I sent an email to Office Star parts dept last week. Still waiting to hear back from them. I can not use/assemble the chair with only 3 wheels. The chair looks beautiful, however, I have yet to use it : (

I wanted a high back chair for my home office. I currently have a Hooker leather mid back chair and love it but did not want to spend $1500 for a similar quality high back. This chair was as advertised and worth the price. First of all, it was well packaged and didn't have a scratch on the chair covering or the wooden base. Assembly was quick and easy and the finished product is sturdy for my 180 lb frame. I must say the seat is a little bit hard and I just hope it loosens up with wear but the lumbar support is good and it looks nice in my office. I'm a CPA and sit a lot in front of a computer. I have a stand up desk and this chair along with my other one gives me some nice options through the day.

This chair although nice is much smaller than a regular executive chair, I ended it up giving it tomy wife as It was too small for me.

Made for short people. If you are over six feet tall this chair is extremely uncomfortable

It's a solid product for the money, comfortable for long sitting, not super cooling for the back- we will see in the summer, but proves to be w a rm for colder days.

Great chair, my husband loves it and says very comfortable.
