Bought this for my wife as a birthday present. She loves it. If you can get the jaws around the branch, it will cut it. Marvelous tool.

Ich suchte eigentlich eine Akku Teleskop Astschere fand aber nichts passendes und bin dann auf die Ryobi OLP 1832 BX gestoßen. Der Korbus besteht wie bei Ryobi gewohnt aus Kunststoff die Aufnahe der Schneideinheit scheint meiner Meinung nach ein Alu Guss zu sein. Das Messer und Gegenstück Metall. Das Gerät schneidet wie angegeben bis zu 32 mm gut durch. Bei sehr ausgetrockneten Ästen blieb sie ein paar mal stecken aber nach einigen nachsetzen schnitt sie dann durch. Ich habe das Gerät bisher nicht im Dauer Einsatz gehabt und kann somit bis jetzt noch nicht sagen wie es um die Haltbarkeit des Messer steht? Mein Fazit bis her : wer sich nicht sehr anstrengen möchte für dem ist diese Astschere ein sehr gutes Gerät.

The best garden tool I never knew I needed. It is simply wonderful dealing with clumps of bamboo. Gets in to cut the stems where it's impossible to use ordinary loppers because the handles can't open in the bamboo clump. And afterwards, cutting it into short lengths to dispose of it the lopper can handle several stems at once. Perfect around the rest of the garden for my partner who doesn't have the strength to use ordinary loppers. I can use it one handed. Easiest to use for long periods below shoulder height, but fine for shorter jobs or with rests above if using it above. When it wears out eventually, I will definitely get another one.
