I love the Aquatic Foods Brand! Never been disapointed!
So in the past I have purchased Calcium Feeders from the Aquatic Foods shop on Ebay and I was overly pleased which brings me to this product. I breed over 15 varieties of aquatic snails and 10 types of fish. One of the most exspensive food items to buy are Spirula and algae wafers. I have had these on my wish list for a while and when I realized they were the same company I have purchased from in the past I decided to pull the trigger, and well the jury is in! These wafers are a big hit with all my snails and fish. Each month I purchase 4 bags of 8oz wafers from another brand which is way more exspensive than the price for these and you don't get anywhere close to the amount as you do with this package. So this is deff more bang for your buck and in the long run is going to save me hundreds of dollars a year. The package has a nifty Ziploc that allows the food to stay fresh for longer. Besides getting over double the amount I normally do with the old brand the wafers are much larger almost 3x the size of the other guys. They are more dense and sink right away and the size allows you to use less than you normally would. You can smell the quality and the pride that went into making this product. I am a disabled veteran on a fixed income. I was injured in the Iraq war and snails are my favorite creatures on earth and so my VA therapist said I should do something with snails as part of my PTSD therapy and this very well priced product is going to save me money and allow me to grow my breeding program. I donate all my sales to charity's that help veterans like me. So in closing it is worth the extra cash to buy this product in bulk packages like this. They offer multiple sizes from a few oz to how ever many pounds you may need. So if you are just looking for good food for your pets or a breeder they have products that are priced right and just the right size for your needs. I recommend this product a 1,000,000x infinity! You will not be disappointed, your gonna save money and your little aquatic friends will thank you =)

Great quantity, high quality
This bag was priced well for how much came in it. There’s TONS of real veggies in these and ingredients seem high quality. They even smell like mixed veggies. The wafers are thicker than hikari algae wafers but same size in diameter, with much better (more whole) ingredients, in a higher quantity, for a lower price. I highly recommend and bulk is definitely the way to go.

Does good
I have a varied assortment of tropical fish in my community tank with 4 species of loaches, plecos, barbs, gouramis, ghosts, garas, crayfish, shrimp, etc... I have used many brands of algae wafers trying to find a good balance of price, quality and appeal. My fish love Omega one but they cost 3X as much as everyone elses. I decided to give these a try and they seem like they'll be a nice middle ground balancing what I'm after.Construction is pretty good, I primarily feed my mix flakes and shrimp pellet and the pellets disintegrate quickly where these wafers remain intact for a long time. The do sink nicely though they do trail a bit of dust like debris while sinking. Size caught me off guard a little as I'm used to 1/2" diameter wafers that are 1/16"-1/8" thick and these a closer to 3/4" diameter and 1/4" thick so it's a good sized wafer. In my pic is a snapshot of my royal pleco munching on one. He initially had difficulty securing it as the wafers thickness made it difficult to capture and he ended up pushing it around for a while till it wedged into the substrate and he got a good bite. That's a good 8" royal munching on that wafer. I wears down slowly, I watched him munch on that one for a good 10 minutes and didn't notice and significant decrease in mass. I have a little inch and a half rubber lip that looks silly when munching on these because it's so much bigger than him.Taste appears to be appealing, as most of my loaches and plecos enjoy them amongst a few others. I have some dojo loaches that are voracious eaters and all over a foot long that try to nibble on these wafers but they act like they're too much trouble thrashing around with them trying to break them apart like their pellets but they're too sturdy and they drop them and try later.Overall, happy with these algae wafers and the value for money is pretty good. Wish they were a bit smaller but they work and never any leftovers in the tank to clean up.

Doesn't soften up in water
The wafer stay rock hard, even after being in water for 10-15 minutes. Fish tire themselves out trying to eat it then move along to something else. They're OK if you break them up or smash them into small pieces, but that defeats the purpose of easy feeding.
