J.R. Watkins Daily Moisturizing Lotion, Lemon Cream, 18 Fl Oz

I had purchased the hand cream version of this in the past and absolutely adore the scent. It's like the most delicious lemony cream cake, but without the calories! ;) Some others have commented that they think it smells chemical-ish, but I don't find that to be the case at all. Smells to me exactly like a real freshly served lemon dessert. However, I know people have different scent receptors and interpret things differently. I'm not the type who is normally very sensitive to scents (in other words they don't usually aggravate me or give me a headache as they do some people), but if you are HIGHLY sensitive, just keep in mind that this definitely does have a strong level of fragrance (in my book that's a good thing because it smells amazing). The hand cream I had bought before smells identical to the lotion, but is quite rich and thick. I actually almost found the hand cream too thick. This lotion on the other hand still has all the richness and creaminess of a body butter, but is just ever so slightly thinner so it glides on effortlessly. It is by no means thin or watery though! Very luxurious and hydrating, but not greasy. It absorbs quickly and leaves your skin feeling soft and supple. It's also a huge bottle you get for the price. I keep it by my bedside and mostly use it as a hand lotion in the evenings before I go to bed so I can soak in the yummy fragrance and let my hands soak in all that moisture as I sleep. A little goes a long way and I can tell this large bottle is going to last a long time. I absolutely love it (even more than the hand cream which I didn't think was possible). Both the scent and the results on my skin are 5 stars all the way!

I can’t even describe how delicious this smells . I am Obsessed with lemon scented things . This lotion is definitely the best lemon lotion I’ve ever smelled. I bought It as a gift for my 2 daughters for Mother’s Day and had to immediately order myself some after smelling it !

Oh! My goodness! I had my birthday celebration planned a few days prior to the celebration actually happening. Before we are the appetizers, it seemed like all the women used the bathroom and the foam lemon soap ( it hasn’t run out yet for me to try the J. R. Watkins Soap Foam (Lemon). As they all sat down I grabbed the J. R. Watkins Daily Lotion ((Lemon Crème) and asked anyone if they used it? They hadn’t. I put it on. Smelled it. And, passed it around. I sighed happily and said that it smelled like one our favorite restaurant’s Lemoncello Cakes. It was fully agreed upon. We all were in such a dream of Lemoncello Cake that we made plans for Girls Night the following Thursday!!! It smells THAT good!!! The lotion is really good too - just right - not too greasy nor not enough conditioning. I need one for the car. Not going to lie. I am a little worried about weight gain due to the yumminess of the lotion!!!!

I tried this as an alternative to the Bliss lemon and immediately hated the scent which is more like a lemon drop than lemon zest. I almost returned it, but it's such a fine and silky lotion that it was soothing to use.

absolutely love the smell and works great. The only thing I hate is the price and the price fluctuates too much. I paid 10.72 on here which I think is too high, but now as of writing this i see it's currently 17.99 yikes. Also this is the only scent I like by J.R. Watkins. The other scents I thnk are terrible and nasty. But this one is really a winner. suggested. The lemon and that cream smell is amazing. LATEST ORDER jan, 2025: Amazon delivered my package to the wrong house again.

This smells delicious and covers nicely. I have dry skin and this seems to do better than any other lotions, oils and body butter I have truied. I’m really happy with my purchase!

I was scared to buy this lotion as I remember Watkins products smelling SO BAD when I was a kid but boy was I wrong! This lotion smells amazing and it really hydrates and doesn't leave you feeling oily. The lemon scent also helps keep mosquitoes away! BONUS! Highly recommended, will buy again and again.

EDIT: It has grown on me. I spoke too soon! I love the lemon cream shower gel. It's probably one of my favourite bath products, so I decided to get the lotion to go with it. I really love the scent of the shower gel, but the scent of the lotion seems really off and smells pretty waxy. It makes my skin so smooth though! It takes a bit of rubbing to get it into the skin but after it does you're left with unbelievably soft skin. I just wish the scent was more like the shower gel. I'll probably use it on my legs and feet but use a different lotion for the top half of my body so I don't smell like... wax.

The lotion works nice, and feels great on the skin. Doesn’t leave any greasy feeling either. My only issue is the scent. It’s not bad, just really strong and sweet. It smells like a lemon dessert, but the smell is just a bit too overwhelming for me. Gives me a bit of a headache if you use to much.
