If your kid is into STEM, you need Poraxy kits. I gave my 9-year-old son three boxes for Christmas. This weekend, he made 8 models! He just couldn’t stop making them. He said, ”I think I’ve gotten twice as smart over this weekend because I’ve learnt so much through making these projects”. I am so grateful for these kits and for the affordable prices. All the models work very well. P.S. For the safe, please get your child to tell you the code he/she makes up. My son forgot his code in spite of all the warnings and can’t open the safe now 😃

So easy to put together!!! Great value for all three!! My 10 year old loves it. Great for kids looking to build. The music boxes play perfectly. Perfect size for small hands.

My 8 year old loves these kits. They are fun for her to do on her own..the Piano music box, the wind up was broken when we received it. The crank music box works great.

My grandson loves them. He's 8 and gets help from his Mom.

The piano is a wind up music box, but the windup mechanism broke after one use. I would prefer a hand crank music box for younger kids. The coin bank had metal rods to push onto plastic arm joints. This was very difficult to do. Also, something did not work right arms became twisted and did not raise properly. The coins just fall into an area with the internal mechanisms which will impact longevity. Overall, I think this was too hard of a build for 8 year olds without assistance. The music box with hand crank gets a 5/5 - my son loved it so much he wants to save it for his children in the future! Safe worked great too! Be sure to write down the code if you change it off of 000. My only complaint is that the instructions are not clear as to which screw length to use so kids often choose the wrong ones. The screw drivers should be magnetized to help hold onto the screws as they are so tiny.
