No it's not... It's water activated

Q: Where is Wolfe's face paint manufactured?

In China like most of the others. Do a bit of googling if you need confirmation on this.

Q: Do these apply the same way as alcohol activated paints?

I have never used alcohol activated paints but these are dry until you use a little water. They go on soooo smooth and bright though. Really can't say enough great things about them!

Yes! My god children as well as myself have sensitive skin and these are hypoallergenic and when the paint is on your face it feels as though you have nothing on. They are activated with water and go on vibrantly, I use them for the Dia De Los Muertos festival and is the same makeup used by makeup artists in Hollywood. I cannot see these paints being more harmful than the nasty greasy stuff that you buy at local stores. Hope this helps.
