I just bought a big trailer that has a pintle hitch on it so obviously I need a pintle hitch. I looked around and the prices are between $50 to over $300 so this was a good option for me. It bolted up fine and I used it for the first time two days ago and everything was good. When I went to take the trailer off I noticed that the ball was ever so slightly cocked back by the ring of the trailer. Once I got the trailer off I grabbed the ball and moved it back and forth. It was loose. Not by much, but I would say 1/16 of a gap. Should I have checked it out before attaching a trailer to it? Yes. Should the nut be tight before its sent out to a customer? Yes.It's not a deal breaker for me because I still think that it's a good value for the money and it's not like I'm going to send it back just to have them tighten it and send it back. I have large sockets and wrenches so this is a 1 minute fix. Would I buy from them again? Yes. Will I check that everything is tight before using it? Yes. We both get four stars.

I use this for my personal trash trailer and to haul a military trailer that is bigger than my truck but only on the base firing range to haul targets. The hook for the army trailer is good, However, when I drop my little trailer hitch on the ball, the pitle hook will not close all the way so the pin will not fit in. No real problem but the tolerance is too tight for long haul towing. It fits fine as it would on any hitch ball but not what I expected.

It was just what I was looking for to hitch my trailer to my tractor box blade to haul limbs on the farm.
