Genuine Leather Dress Belt (1 1/4" wide) with Solid Automatic Buckle

UPDATE: I had to replace this belt at about the years mark, the belt itself was cracking on the inside, however this is probably my husbands fault for generally being careless with his belt (something i pointed out in my original review) the buckle is in better condition than the buckle of the new belt when it was used for about the same time. I am still leaving the 5 stars as this belt was kind of abused and honestly held up rather well, especially the buckle, a replacement of the actual belt piece to use with the buckle would be perfect.Bought this for my husband for Christmas, though it is not as easy to undo as his old belt (where you just unhook the buckle from the belt hole) he does love this belt, after cutting it down twice to his size it was just a matter of getting use to it.He's never had a belt like this and does enjoy that it is so easy to get the tightness he needs or if he needs to loosen it just a little. We have almost always had to make our own holes in his belts as usually they are to big, become to big or one hole is too small but the next to big.The buckle is really beautiful (I wanted something simple) and is a good weight, the leather is nice looking and thick feeling. If my husband takes care of this belt (as in not leaving it on the floor to get abused) it will last a good time.I'm getting another for my father.

I've had the belt for just about 2 years and it's now starting to wear through and about to break for good. For less than $20, a belt that looks and functions nicely for 2 years is a solid investment. Where the buckle connects to the actual belt has worn out a couple times, but I just cut 1/2 an inch off the belt and put the buckle back on and it was good to go for another 6 months or so.I've pretty much worn this belt every day to work for almost 2 years so it's gotten quite a bit of wear and tear. The fact that it held up this long for the price gives it 5 stars for me.

It's not as good as a higher quality competitor's product that I had received for my birthday. I really liked the sliding belt idea and thought this would be a good alternative for the price. It was 30% cheaper. But after trying out both products, I will pay the extra $15 next time and get the better, higher quality product. Couple of things I didn't like as much, the belt is not as thick (the width is the same) and the buckle is not as good a design. Overall though, this is a good belt and definitely worth the price.

This belt is exactly what I needed. I've been losing weight and have had to purchase multiple new belts as my waistline has diminished. Finding this belt, I have been able to have a belt that can adjust to my smaller sizes. It's easy to cut the belt, if necessary, when my weight loss results a large overlapping belt flap.Also, the belt looks great. I couldn't be happier

Aside from the obviously great 1.25" leather belt with high-tech catches for the buckle, I was amazed by the high-tech and heavy duty shiny brass buckle, technically a "finding". I don't think I've ever seen a buckle this cool before! and I was a leatherworker for some years. It might just be worth the price for the buckle. Oh, and did I mention it is very easy to trim with shears to the exact length you want, it's one-size-fits-all. I'' wear this everywhere.

When I bought this, I read many of the positive, plus negative reviews. I experienced none of the product defects that several people complained about. The Belt was in excellent condition, as would be expected. Easy to size with plenty of belt to have for that occasional "expansion". I like the locking feature, as it holds all day long and doesn't slip. So far, I haven't had any problems, and as of now, I'd recommend it to people looking for a belt.

Easy to use and looks nice. Is a little thicker than other belts I've used, but it's NOT a gun belt. It didn't last too long before it started ripping from holster use, but it's still going strong for me and I'll keep using it until it dies. I know it's a dress belt, but I thought I could get away with something a little cheaper. Either way I'm happy with my purchase.

nice belt, buckle well made But after a year the belt began to split from inside.. Definitely Not leather by any means!luckily I can buy a replacement and reuse buckle.
