I have a beautiful Chow Chow. But, her fur can be a trial. So thick and not to mention double coated! Anyway, the curry type brushes just weren't doing the job and a lot of the other combs, the teeth were just too close together! This comb, however, does a beautiful job. Easy to use, combs all the way without all the pulling and tugging, and Meko now loves to be groomed! Love it!

Bought for a medium coat giant Alaskan Malamute.Solidly built, grippy handle, teeth are long enough to get down to the undercoat even with thick fur, wide enough that i can quickly brush out my giant Malamute (female, 96lb, ~27in) in just a couple minutes… works as good as can be expected of a brush except for a single thing.The teeth, while round, are flat cut on the ends leaving them slightly scratchy feeling.TBH, if the tooth *tips* were also rounded to get rid of that slight scratching, it would be pretty much perfect.Note that the size of this brush and the length and spacing of the teeth mean that it is probably “too big” for dogs that don’t have long hair, double coats, or are under medium-to-large size.

This product is fantastic! I have a large dog - part husky, part yak! - and the grooming tool I was using was fine for my small dog, but just not enough for the beast!This groomer is large enough, very sturdy and removes hair very easily and without snagging. I love that the shed hair comes out of the brush without a struggle as well. I highly recommend this grooming tool for your large dog! Especially if your pup sheds as much as mine does.

This is really good at getting my golden retriever's undercoat.

It got down deep under her long hair to remove clumps of hair!

Arrived with one pin/tine missing (and it was not in the package). Handle is comfortable. Tine spacing isn't very wide (wish it was wider) and tines themselves aren't very thick (wish they were thicker and had more rounded smooth tips), which means it's more scratching than ideal. I find the Staggered Buttercomb much better, but it also costs much more. This is inexpensive and on par with other rakes within this price range, not better and not worse.

This works very well on my Golden retriever. Did a wonderful job getting his undercoat and he also loved it. It also reduced a lot of daily shedding. Would definitely recommend.
