Great Turbidity Meter
Was using a borrowed one for our hatchery operations and found it easy to use and accurate. We liked it so bought our own unit. The only down side is that it is not completely watertight so don't expose it to rain. Take samples in the rain and take indoors or under cover to read.

Very expensive to repair
We had a button fall off of our 2 year old unit and wanted to get it repaired. The meter works fine just has an opening that water could get in. To repair this we were quoted $640 from Hach. If you already had a service plan at $268 per year the repair would be included. Since our unit is not currently in the service plan they want $640 + $268. Too much! I spoke to 3 different people at Hach. They would not budge on this. No one at Hach has the authority or cares to keep a customer. Or you could try buying a brand new Apera turbidity meter that costs $636 delivered from Amazon.
