BN-LINK 10" x 20.75" Seedling Heat Mat for Seed Starting Plants Germination

This was so easy to use. The temperature is consistent - it does not have a thermostate but this has made my seedlings are spouting and are much happier! The value was great - I shopped around for other heat mats in our local nursury and they were very (VERY) expensive. This is water proof and the length easily covers two of my trays side by side. It is not too thick, seems to high quality and functions as I need it to. Your sprouts will thank you!

This seedling heat mat has been one of the most useful things I have in my house. It has nurtured countless plants successfully, aided in fermentation of kefirs, kombucha, fruits, vegetables, you name it. For the past 5 days it has been keeping alive two newborn eastern cottontail orphaned bunnies. It is reliable, constant heat. Worth far more than I ever expected it to be. I gave the second one to a friend to keep her worm farm alive through the winter.

Note - I did not use these for seed germination yet. I used one for resin crafting - the other will be used for seed starting when it's not 5000 degrees outside here in Florida. The heat level is consistent, but not variable. There are no switches or knobs to adjust the base setting. It plugs into a standard outlet. The mat itself is a smooth matte vinyl, so I did cover it with parchment paper before I used it for resin in order to avoid making a huge mess. It really helped remove the stubborn bubbles in my resin dice. There is a warning that this, like most electronics, should not be submerged or exposed to standing water for a long period of time. Make sure you are using something with drainage holes OR have your seedlings otherwise contained so the water doesn't get on the mat. Anything that does spill wipes off quickly. This is about the size of a large desk mat and is relatively thin and non-obtrusive. The cord does not have a swivel head, so placement is important if you need things to stay level. It would be a great modification if they made these with a rotating/swivel outlet plug, but alas. The vinyl seems sturdy enough, but I do foresee it cracking down the line. Just be careful and avoid water intrusion.

This review is strictly from a sourdough bulk fermenting perspective. These run hot, esp without having a temp controller on them, but I bought them from the Black Friday sale for a good price. I have a long double thickness towel I put on the table to protect it from the heat, and then I use another towel folded into fourths on top, to moderate the dough temp when letting my sourdough bulk proof, and will occasionally use another double layer on top, making 6 layers so the dough doesn't overheat The two will be good to use when I'm making large batches for my bake days. NOW..... if you're using this for starting seeds, these are going to fry your seedlings in a matter of a short time! These are way too hot to put a seed tray on! Don't do it! OR....buy a temp controller to plug it into, to save your plants!

I actually bought these to use when I make sourdough bread! They keep a very mild warm temperature that would be wonderful for seed germination as well

I start all my seeds in the basement over winter, so these were a definite must have. We had great success with our germination and they are very water resistant. Will be buying more as our seed starting journey grows over the years. They’ve lasted an entire year almost with no issues.

This is the my first time using something like this to get started on my vegetables for this year's planting. I love the Simplicity of the assembly, though I did have to watch the video because the material sent is pretty sparse. But once I got everything hooked up it was easy to get the seeds planted. Instead of just the plastic tray that comes with it, I bought some of the degradable little pots that fit perfectly in the slots on the tree. For some of the plans it was just days before I saw some sprouting , likely because it said the perfect light settings moisture settings and since I added the two heating pads which I bought separately, always at the perfect temperature. We live in the warm zone 9 so certain plants that are going to be trellis plants I need to get them started before I can plant the actual vegetables that climb them and this is the perfect answer. I love it.

É incrível! Em 1 semana de uso contínuo, sementes minhas que não tinham brotado ainda e outras cujo crescimento estava estagnado evoluíram muito! Tive só que aumentar a frequência de umidificar com spray com água as plantas, porque o solo secou bem mais rápido com o tapete.

La alfombrilla se autoregula en temperatura y la puedes usar de día y noche . En mi caso la use 21 días seguidos y sin problema las semillas germinaron súper rápido y todas se lograron.

Très efficace pour les semis. Les tapis chauffants fonctionnent très bien et aident vraiment à la germination des graines. Je vais certainement en racheter. Très satisfaite de mon achat.
