These are really cute, but I think the seller should add to the description that they are twice the size of normal bookends. The measurements are shown in one of the pictures, but this info should be explicitly stated in the description as well. I didn’t look at all of the pictures before I bought them (I didn’t think I needed to look at seven pictures of the same bookends, I guess), and I assumed these were the usual size. I wouldn’t have bought them if I had known otherwise.

Sturdy and attractive, but wide. Would work great to hold large books or textbooks, my paperbacks are too narrow and the cat is wider than the books, but still really cute.

These are awesome. I have them holding 7 large blue binders packed full of papers. My binders are no longer toppling over or leaning sideways. They are heavy enough that you don't want to drop one on your bare foot. Glad I bought them and cute to look at.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these bookends - substantial metal with smooth edges, perfectly straight and flat. I need several pairs for a new alcove that will have floating bookshelves for cookbooks, kids' books, fiction, non-fiction. I ordered one pair as a test - now I will order several more, dino and giraffe bookends will prop up the kids' books and I know they'll love them!

These are adorable! I was looking for something (not too big or obnoxious) to hold the binders in my kitty themed office! These fit the bill perfectly! They are super sturdy and hold up even when I take several, heavy binders out. They are a great value for the price! Super cute! Highly recommend for any fellow crazy, cat lady!

Love these cute little bookends! I keep about 15 textbooks on my desk and these hold them up easily with no additional support needed (not leaning against a wall or anything). Super happy with this purchase!

Purchased these for my bathroom shelves to keep the wash clothes, hand towels and towels in place. There is a hole in the bottom to screw it to the shelf as well as bottom rubber tabs. I didn't screw them down, the tabs keep them in place well enough.

When the bookends arrived the immediate thing I noticed is that they were not Persian Cats, they were owls. Two different types of creature altogether.Since they took several weeks to arrive I can't be bothered returning them.As owl bookends they are nice, solid with a good heft to them. Not cats though, which was disappointing.

These are very well made (nothing inherently Persian cat about them) and I very much like the ability to screw them to a surface because I've got them not to much as book ends but as open shelf ends on a side table in the kitchen.

Stands well, looks great, does the job.However, I can't use on my heavier books as they push it out.Works fine for my boys DVD shelf

Love these bookends. They are so cute! I noticed one reviewer said they were big - they relatively big compared to most bookends so I recommend checking the dimensions before you buy. But I love them and really glad I bought them. Super cute, especially if you love kitties!
