does one filter last for 200 gallons or all three meaning 75 gallons PER filter?

Does this filter out excess salt? I live in a hard water area and have a whole house water softener, so my drinking water can be salty.

Even though our pitcher can remove part of the sodium ions in the water, sodium ions is still high in the filtered water. I see in 2021 these were not recyclable & the manufacturer was looking for a program to partner with to recycle these. Has this been addressed yet?
