LOVE the machine - hate the folders
I have three machines - Sizzix, Gem. Jr and this.I like all of them, but my first choice is Midi. Jr. is fine too, but, OK, how many plates and what exact order should you put together to make your cut? Could the creators come up with a much easier way? All that needs to be done is to calibrate the width of the plates. The Midi uses just one folder and cuts outstandingly. I have some die cuts that other machines would not cut cleanly, but Midi does every time.BUT, here comes the BIG BUT: after the first use, the folder got bent like the wide-open mouth of the monster. Come on, Gemini people, if you are making a great machine, make great accessories. It's VERY frustrating!!!So 5 stars for Midi, no stars for folder. That's my last word.

Good machine for beginners
I bought it for small die cuts and nesting dies and it work well. All the Gemini machines are worth the money.

This is a nice little machine for quick die cutting
I have a Spellbinder, but it needed repairs, so while I waited, I grabbed this little cutter to keep me going. I like how accurately it cuts. Every die I tried in it came out cleanly cut, even one that does not do well in my Spellbinder. My only complaint with it comes from using the Spellbinder first, which is maybe not fair. This Gemini die cutter is very lightweight, so it takes 2 people to operate it-- one person to hold it in place and one to crank. My students liked it, because they could work with partners, but when I do it by myself, it can be a little trickly. The suction cups just are not enough without the heaviness in the machine to hold them down. Again, I am used to a much bigger machine that does not even have suction cups; it stays in place by its own weight alone.I am happy I bought this Gemini cutter. It is handy for when I need to whip out a small card or shape for a quick project.

It will do the job, just not my Fav
First off, know that I am a Huge Gemini fan and I thought this theory was great! I bought this one for my daughter. She is not a crafter by nature but she really tries. She wanted to make cards with me. Soo, this machine would be easier for her than building the Embossing/die cutting "sandwich" with all the plates. And it was. But the warps on that were Very Real and it wasn't long at all doing a face plate that it snapped into 2 pieces and unusable. Bought a new one, it broke within a couple weeks using only couple times a week. Taped it and wound up using thick folded over layers of cardstock and just keep replacing that when it gets too flat.

It’s a work horse.
I use this more than my Gemini Jr because most everything can just be put in the folder and run through.

Love it
My only complaint is the plastic sleeve that comes with it is very warped after not too much use. All in all the machine is great

No die cut folders
The little machine works really well, however I can no longer find the folders for it.

Great value with incredible portability and weight
I love 💗 this machine it cuts just as well as the larger size Gemini and the lite weight makes it fantastic to move around with. Wish I gotten this size first it would have saved me money. I also love that you only need 1 piece to cut and emboss! This is a awesome value
