Amazing!!! Takes all the guessing about plant moisture away. A great product.

I have killed more plants than I can count by overwatering them. This is the perfect fix for that and very easy to use. You just pick the Aquameter stick that is the right size for your pot, insert it in the root zone, and for the next six month or so it tells you exactly when your plant needs water when the core turns from blue to white in the viewing window. After six months or so, you will notice that the core does not turn blue after watering and that tells you that it is time to put in a replacement core. You just unscrew the end, slide the old one out, look down the barrel to ensure there are no pieces left behind and put in a new core. Both ends unscrew, so if there is a piece of an old core stuck in it, you just take off both ends and run water through it to clean it out. These are not inexpensive, but they are way cheaper than replacing my plants all the time. They have definitely become the cure for my "brown thumb."

This product worked great for about 3 months then they all quit working within 6 days of each other.

I really like these. Have helped me figure out watering for my fussy plants. I just wished they lasted longer. I believe the description says they last 6ish months. Yikes, not sure if I will buy again.

Worked great the first couple usages ( bought in November) now I only have one that works! Kinda bummed bc it gave me a peace of mind when to water as I’m a new plant mom!

Don’t give up hope! I put the dipstick in five of my plants, only 2 went from white (dry) to blue (watered to correct level), but I had just watered all the plants yesterday. I immediately felt like, this product is worthless, another gimmick, but something said, just water those three plants, maybe there isn’t enough water. I did and was over the moon that all the indicators on the dipstick were blue!! I thought it threw and it was 95 degrees in my condo yesterday, and I have nothing but sunlight coming in through all glass views. My poor baby plants were starving for water and had I not followed through I would have hastily given this product a one star. I’m a believer!!

Ich habe die Stäbchen nach einem Monat testen direkt nach bestellt. Klar , der Preis ist echt Happig, aber auch schon das einzige Manko. Sie funktionieren zuverlässig. Wichtig ist zu beachten das es schonmal eine Nacht dauern kann, bis es blau anzeigt. Wichtig ist auch zu beachten wenn die Wurzeln der Pflanze nicht tief genug ragen und es blau anzeigt ,können die Blätter bis zum gießen schonmal hängen. Das ist aber nicht schlimm. Diese Art von Stress fördert das Wurzelwachstum in die Tiefe. Allerdings machen das Pflanzen auch, wenn sie zuviel Sonne abbekommen haben. Sie erholen sich aber über Nacht. Deswegen immer erst morgens gießen , falls sie dann noch hängen sollten und das Stäbche blau ist, trifft es zu das die Wurzeln zu kurz sind und dann kann trotzdem gegossen werden. Sobald aber alles gut durchwurzelt ist funktioniert es super und zuverlässig. Lasst euch von den Schlechten Bewertungen nicht beirren. Weil das was ich hier erklärt habe trifft da zu. Und ja sie sind bei großen Töpfen lange blau, daran sieht man mal wie oft und überflüssig man gegossen hat. Meine Großen Töpfe draußen musste ich seid einem Monat garnicht gießen, da der Regen das übernimmt. Die hätte ich ohne Stäbchen in dem Monat sicher 5 bis 6 mal sonst gegossen.
