I'm doing a comparison of two products
I'm in the process of comparing this product, Carapex Fine Line Eye Serum with Alchimie Forever Rejuvenating Eye Balm, 0.5 Fl Oz. I don't really have a lot of wrinkles unless I squint my eyes but I do have some puffiness under my eyes and darkness in the corners between eyes and bridge of nose. I don't think either product are meant to help with my dark areas. Each product has its plusses. The Carapex Fine Line Eye Serum is VERY light, clear, non-greasy, no perfumes and a teeny dot of product goes a LONG way. It is super easy to apply with a finger tip. It comes in a dark bottle. The Alchimie Forever Rejuvenating Eye Balm comes in a small tube and is more like a lotion, white, a tiny dot goes far and it feels very moisturizing but doesn't leave you feeling greasy at all. This product doesn't have perfumes either. I LOVE the Alchimie brand face scrub/exfoliator and use it 2-3 times a week. It has actually improved the quality of my skin. So I thought I would be leaning toward more products from that brand. HOWEVER, and this is BIG! The Alchimie is only 0.5 oz at $45 while the Carapex is 2 oz at $20. For the same amount (2 oz) of Alchimie it will run you $180!!! Still, I really love the Alchimie Gentle Refining Scrub, and you do you just a fat pea size of product.

Alchimie balm uplifts the spirit of your eyes
I got this product for my wife. This product doesn't have any scent/odor and that is a very good thing. Like all eye rejuvenation products, this is also a small tube. And the product seems to work as long as it is applied; meaning it is not a cure.My wife's comments:I have one of those eyes where people say I look tired. It could be because of dark circles and probably lack of a twinkle as well. I'm always looking for something to make my under eyes look a little younger to match the rest of the not-so-young face. This eye balm is a keeper.Packaging: Tube comes in a disproportionately big box, well packaged.Usage: Easy to dispense just the right amounts (read small quantity) to dab under the eyes and above eyes in the socket area as well.Happiness factor: Thoroughly happy. I did notice that my skin under the eyes are more taut, but the dark circles are still there. I like that this product made some noticeable difference in a good way.

Very gentle
It's always difficult to review beauty products because it's almost impossible to tell what impact they've had or will have on your skin as you continue to use them. That being said, I'm very happy with this product for a number of reasons, the chief being how very gentle it is on my skin.In the past I have tried anti-aging products that have itched and burned, which makes me leery of trying new ones, particularly those targeting the eye area. This product, however, was so gentle we started using as a moisturizer in on my father who is elderly and has been experiencing irritation around his eyes from tears/salt.As far as changes to my skin are concerned, applying this balm makes the area around my eyes look and feel less dry without leaving any oily sheen. This eye balm is also made in the USA and certified cruelty-free, which I consider pluses.FYI, it does have a very light scent, which I personally find pleasant; still, if you need a completely fragrance free product, that might be a deal breaker for you. While I can't promise you this eye balm will be as transformative as we all want our anti-aging products to be,I would recommend it as a very gentle moisturizer that you should be able to use every day on your eyes with confidence.
