Bulky
I got this to use with my smartphone (I have a case that has a hole for a strap). This thing is just too bulky. It is as long as my phone, and even more thick. It takes up too much pocket space for my purposes. The strap itself is comfortable, and the parts seem to be of decent quality. It just takes up almost as much volume as the item that is attached to.

Perfect for my Canon!
I have both a PowerShot G1X and a PowerShot G12. These cameras are larger than most point-and-shoot models, especially the G1X. It's bigger and heavier than many compact mirrorless cameras and is designed to be used with a neck strap. But I have some physical limitations that prevent my hanging a weight from my neck or shoulders. Also, both of these models have a vari-angle LCD, and neck straps just really get in the way when the LCD is folded out.The OP/TECH USA strap is sturdy and able to carry the weight of heavier equipment. The neoprene loop is padded and comfortable around my wrist, and the slider makes customizing the loop a snap so it fits my wrist perfectly.Oh, and there's the snap-apart feature which makes removing the wrist loop a breeze, and only a short "pigtail" is all that's left on the camera. Reattaching the strap doesn't require threading it back through the eyelet on the camera--it's pretty fuss-free. OP/TECH makes several system straps that could be attached to the pigtail, and I may check into one of them later for use with the G1X. But for now I'm a very happy shutterbug.

A tad small
Works nicely, but it's a bit small. I've got big hands so it takes a bit of wiggling to get the wrist strap on. Another couple inches in total length would be better, but it does feel good once I get in on.

Best bang for the buck
I've always likes OpTech's no nonsense attitude. This thing is solid, comfortable and inexpensive. What's not to love ?Unlike that other brand that sells you one lanyard with two attachments for more than twice the price - this one is actually the right size. That other one always slips the noose just enough to become too tight just when you want to put your wrist into it.If anything could be done better on this one - maybe it could be just a fraction less extensible. But hey.

love this strap!
I am not a fan of neck straps as they end up hurting my neck. I bought this wrist strap for my m4/3 camera (smaller than a DSLR, but can still have a large lens). I always try to keep a hold of the camera in my hand when I'm carrying it, but I use this wrist strap as a backup plan. (I once dropped and broke a point and shoot camera - never again!!) The strap is comfortable on my wrist and has a plastic piece that can tighten the strap on my wrist as snug as I want. I've had it for nearly a year and it's wearing very well. I would purchase again.

Nice strap
I use this on my Canon G-12. Works great. Wraps around my wrist while on the trail and keeps the camera handy. Strap pops off easily when it's time for the camera to go into it's otter box.

Great strap
I already owned one and purchased this for another camera. It was that good.

Comfortable and secure
I use these for all of my compact digital cameras. These are really secure and comfortable. I like that the wrist strap can detach so I can use the camera on my stabilizer. Well worth the price.

What a great piece of kit
This wrist strap is a MOST welcome addition to my gear bag. It is unnerving the first time you let the camera hang from the strap as feels like it is on its own bungee strap. But, having used it on numerous occasions now, I am confident it is more than up to the task of looking after the Sony a6000 it is attached to.I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to others.

Another used for a camera strap
I needed a strap to secure my dog lead to my wrist to ensure that my dog could not pull the lid from my hand and get away. The camera is ldeal for this task and works very well. I am very pleased with it after trying other methods unsuccessfully.

Nice product great for Canon G7Xii
I bought this for my Canon G7X mark ii, it fits perfectly and its secure, I liked the fact that it can be detached from the lanyard which can be done with a quick press, its made from neoprene and its comfortable to wear, its an upgrade for the supplied wrist strap, all in all a good product that comes well presented in retail packaging. Not a sponsored review purchased at full price

I bought this strap for my compact camera and find it excellent. As I like to carry the camera in my hand, the strap is invaluable for security. It fits snugly round my wrist and is soft enough not to be intrusive, in fact, I forget it is there. I can use the camera in either orientation without it binding. I have other Optech straps and can recommend this one highly.

A comfortable wrist strap
A very comfortable wrist strap perfect to match the new red cameras out there.easy to attach or take off. After three weeks extensive travelling it was a perfect solution and better than a neck strap as it would go into a shoulder bag along with my camera. I don't use a camera bag as this just says something worthwhile here steal me when travelling.
