Yes, this is a kit....knobs, latch and striker plate and all screws you will need.

Does this come with a strike plate?

Yes, and I learned that too late because I had ordered separate strike plates.

Does the lock release when the know is turned? I need one that unlock itself, doesn't need to use unlock button

Once you lock the door, the knob does not turn on either side of the door. You do need to use the unlock button. Also, if you lock an open door, when you close it the door will remain locked. You can lock yourself out of a room, but you can get in by using a coin as a key to get in.

Copper Creek door knob

Needed a new door knob for a bit now and found this one. Arrived a day early. Simple installation. Love the antique nickel look.

Looks good and functions well, but rekeying is not obvious

Functionally and esthetically these entry sets are good. I bought 5 of them in antique nickel assuming that I could easily rekey to make them all match. Initially I could not figure out how to get to the lock cores because they seemed to be captive inside the knob with no clear way to remove or maneuver into a position that enables rekeying. I eventually figured out that the ring on the back of the knob pops off with relatively little effort using a screwdriver.
