Q: which age use this thing?

My grandkids are 2&3 ....they loved it BUT unfortunately it did not last long. It never would stand up straight ...always falling over & most important it became unsafe because of the little wires that hold this together began sticking out .

Q: Does this come with a nylon bag to carry and put the tent in when folded?

No, and honestly it's pretty tricky to fold. However, it has been the biggest hit with my 4 year old.

Q: This would be perfect for a sensory tent if it was a plain dark color or black?

From my experience traveling to other states, I have seen many different colors for Police cars so I think Blue is just fine. The children have enjoyed playing with it and haven't once mentioned why it's lighter blue instead of dark blue or black. I have even seen white and grey police cars so I don't really think the color makes a whole lot of difference for children excited to play in a police car.
