After the recent loss of our family companion (Bud), this offers much comfort on many levels to help me cope.

My daughter is currently undergoing treatment for autoimmune encephalitis and has a lot of anxiety. We bought her this cat because she responded well to her weighted blanket. She LOVES this cat. She says it is very soft and she loves the weight. It provides some comfort when she is feeling anxious. She is 12 and we got her the 2 kg cat.

My son absolutely love this dog, and it helps him fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. He absolutely loves it and carries it around with them everywhere else his arm strength to even his brother loves it highly recommend it.

Like most autism or sensory specialty items, these are a bit pricy, but in my opinion they are worth the expense if you can manage it. They are very, very well made. I have no concerns about my son pulling off any parts or breaking it open. The fabrics is textured which can be great for sensory seekers.My son is 65lbs and recommended weight for a lap pad is around (and no more than) 5% of body weight, so he is kind of "between sizes". I bought the smaller one for now as he wanted something he can also sleep with and I wanted feel safer. It's still heavy enough for him.He puts the puppy on his belly/chest and it helps him calm down. He also uses it on his shoulders. It seems to help him concentrate when he keeps it on his lap to do his homework, or sometimes he will choose to hold onto it watching a movie. I also like that the colours are not too bright and it doesn't look overly like a "toy", therefore not likely to be a distraction if he brings it to school.We are both very happy with this little dog!

I’ve been looking for something I can walk around the house with to have around my shoulders. As an adult with anxiety it can be tough to find stuff that can help. I have a weighted blanket that helps but it’s not very easy to walk around the house with. This 2kg dolphin, so far, has been just what I needed. I lay it on my shoulders, around my neck, and even on my head when I’m laying down.**I would recommend NOT doing this with children as the weight could be dangerous for them**For me, as an adult, and knowing where to safely place it, having it on my head and forehead almost instantly calmed me. Also laying it on my chest helped.For those struggling with anxiety and somatic issues, I would highly recommend this.The weight, to me, feels comparable to a white pages phone book. A fair amount of weight but after some time, and depending where it’s been placed, it might start to get a little uncomfortable after a while.

I got the package in one day, it is great material. Don't see it breaking anytime soon. I took some pictures so that you could get different perspectives of it. The arms head and tail come out of this material that comes from the shell and keeps them in place (see picture attached). Overall great product
