If you have any kind of shoulder injury this is a life saver. I had rotator cuff surgery and this really helped. Full coverage on shoulder. Pack is a tad heavy.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Helpful During Recovery I ordered these gel ice packs after rotator cuff surgery and ended up using them several times a day during the first few weeks of recovery. The shape fit my shoulder reasonably well, and the flexibility of the gel allowed the pack to conform better than a standard ice pack straight out of the freezer. The cold lasted long enough for my typical icing sessions, and the pack remained pliable instead of becoming rock hard. I also appreciated that the material felt durable and didn’t leak, even after repeated freezing and thawing. My main complaint is that I found myself waiting for the pack to refreeze between uses. If you’re icing frequently during recovery, you may want more than one pack so you can rotate them throughout the day. The included strap helped keep the pack in place, although I occasionally had to readjust it to get the coverage exactly where I wanted it. Overall, these ice packs became one of the items I reached for most often during recovery. While they’re not a replacement for a dedicated cold therapy machine, they provided convenient and effective cold therapy when I needed it.

I bought this after shoulder surgery. I like that I can strap it on and move around. I’ve found that if I leave the large Velcro strap fastened, I can slip it over my other arm by myself. I do have to get my husband to fasten the other strap around my arm on the side that I am icing for a better fit. My only complaint is that they do not sell or provide a thin cover to put around it to protect my skin better. I do sew, but I’m currently unable to use my left arm. I’m placing a thin pillow case on my shoulder under the ice pack, but I’d rather have something fitted. It easily stays cold enough for the 20 minute ice sessions. I think I’ll start putting it into a ziplock bag because I do not like the extra layer of frost on it from the freezer. It seems a bit stiff, but it’s flexible enough for me. It is way better than the bags of peas my doctor told me to get.

I had Bicep Tendonesis surgery and I wanted to make sure I found something that’ll go around my arm and not be a hard brick like I seen a lot of other ice packs online. You gotta be careful for that. This one does not get hard like a brick otherwise I’d use it for my lunchbox lol but no, it’s soft when you pull it out of the freezer and flexible. I noticed some other reviews on many products say something about condensation ice buildup and you have to realize that when you pull something freezing cold out of the freezer that condensation naturally will build up on it due to the temperature of the product and the temperature of the air in the room. Then when you put it back in the freezer, the condensation will obviously freeze on the exterior - it’s just common sense but it seems like people lack it. Anyway, it’s good gets the job done but unfortunately, I’m a baby and I can’t move my arm much so I just put it on top of it. I don’t wrap it around.

After dislocating both my shoulder and elbow simultaneously, I needed an ice pack that would stay in place on my shoulder without slipping off. I used multiple times, frozen as opposed to just chilled. It stayed in place well, however I could not tighten it independently. The strap to tighten is in the back, out of reach for me. I either had to guess at the needed strap length or have my husband adjust it for me. The straps would loosen a bit in the process of removing it, so it always needed a little adjustment when putting it back on, but otherwise it stayed in place as I rested. The ice pack was not particularly comfortable when laying down or sitting against something like a chair back or even just a stack of pillows. Nothing to do with the temperature. The discomfort was due both in part to where the cross strap rests and also that it takes up a lot of freezer space to get it to freeze evenly. Which meant there were some lumpy pockets of frozen gel. Because of both of these aspects, I didn't use it as much as I was supposed to. Ultimately I didn't hate it. It served it's purpose, just not as well as I was hoping. Thus it gets an average rating from me.

Covers my shoulder completely and gives the cold relief needed.

Excellent as described and fits small to large frames , if you are thinking about this just get it.

After purchasing two other brands, I quickly got tired of having to take out the ice pack from the sleeve to re-freeze, then have to put it back. Then I found this brand. It doesn't require a sleeve, you just chill and re-use, saving you all of that extra time and effort. Better yet, these packs stay cold a long time. Even though I usually wear a size Large in men's shirts, I bought the Small Size, and it fits just right. I LOVE these!!!
