Raise 1502 Armpit Stain Remover, 12-Ounce

I was somewhat skeptical, but I read the entire bottle and followed the directions. Applied, rubbed, waited 20 minutes, then washed. It saved a very expensive blouse and all my favorite white tshirts. I've since switched to an aluminum free deodorant. It's charcoal magnesium, it works, and doesn't leave stains. Still lots of product left. If it didn't work for you, it says on the bottle that it works best if you haven't used bleach prior, so that may be the reason.

This did not work at all. I used it on four Callaway golf shirts that are made with opti dry fabric. I applied solution to both the inside and outside of armpits. I worked it in with a toothbrush and let it sit for 20 minutes before placing in washer. There was no noticable improvement in stains. Don't know if it might work on a different fabric type, but very disappointed in this product. On a positive note I did find a new deodorant, Dove Mens Plus, that claims to not stain armpits. Time will tell....

The problem is that aluminum compounds in most deodorants will eventually stain garments yellow. These compounds are very hard to remove with regular stain remover, and are most noticeable on white shirts.Raise aims to dissolve the aluminum salts and eliminate the stains.The problem is that the chemical used to achieve this effect can completely ruin and discolor the dye in certain shirts. I applied this to a few shirts that were just starting to get signs of a stain, and on two of them it completely discolored the shirt. It turned one blue shirt green immediately, and a purple shirt exhibited bright pink patches where the chemical hit it within a couple of minutes of application.So I was pretty unhappy about that. It does warn to test fabrics first, if you use this product make sure you do this at the bottom hem or you could be really sorry as the stains are basically permanent.On shirts where the dye is not discolored by the chemical, the product can work reasonably well. However, don’t expect miracles. The best use for this remover is to pre-emptively spray on white shirts once every few washes to break down the compounds before they start to stain. It does work well for this. If you use it on a heavily stained shirt it will improve things, but better to use this to avoid getting to that state in the first place.

Not the silver bullet for yellow stains but works pretty well. I used this on the collars and armpits of my dress shirts, poured some on then used an old toothbrush to rub it in. Let it sit 15-20 minutes then washed. There was a noticeable improvement but the stains were not completely gone. I would still buy again though. I just plan on using every few months to keep the shirts looking better.

I used this product on five cotton shirts that had significant staining. I had tried other high power cleaners, and the baking soda method described by another reviewer - nothing had made any difference at all.One of my shirts now has no staining at all, three have only a little - not enough to notice unless you really look - and one still has significant staining. I really didn't expect it to work at all so I'm very happy with these results. I'll run four of them through another cycle to see if I can improve them further. Note that the instructions state that this product works best on clothing that has not previously been bleached.

The armpit stain remover works okay on newer stains but was unable to remove stains that had been washed even just once. It has an extremely strong smell which did wash out luckily. I tried the product on a variety of shirts including a white cotton tee shirt, a men's dress shirt, a silk blouse, and several tank tops that were mostly cotton. The men's dress shirt came out the best but it was a new shirt that had only been worn once before washing. The silk blouse still had staining on the inside, though it was a bit better than prior to treatment. The white tee shirt had almost exactly the same amount of yellowing as prior to treatment. The tank tops had varying results. My boyfriend felt most were better, I didn't see much change. Either way, it was not enough improvement to wear the shirts out of the house.I think I would keep this on hand to use on new shirts but it doesn't seem to help much on older/washed stains.

I bought this in hopes of cleaning up some garments that were prretty soiled with underarm yellowing. The one shirt I had was terribly yellow and almost had a "caking" to it under the arms. I bought this and applied to the affected area and let sit for a few days. I can happily say that this product significantly reduced the problem and is barely noticeable. I fell one more application will remedy the yellowing 100%. I did try it on some lightly yellowed shirts and it removed the yellowing completely on those so I have no room to complain and am completely satisfied with this product!

I was sceptical about ordering this, but I took the plunge, spent the money and waited. I received a day before it said I would. I tried it on all of my white shirts with the yellow stain. I even tried on an OLD undershirt of my that I was about to throw away because the stain had gotten worse over the years (yes I said years...thats how old this shirt is) and was turning a nasty brown color. I did let it sit on there longer than the 15-20 mins it said, tho. It was amazing! I couldnt believe how well it worked! It faided the nasty brown color on my old shirt to where it isnt even noticable anymore, and I had already used bleach trying to get it out. This product will now be a staple in my household. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! I had stoped buying white shirts because of the stains I was leaving. OH and it works on colors too!! So far Ive had no color loss on any of the colored shirts ive use...and again, I left it on longer than it said!!
