Not Really Impressed.
These chairs don't live up to the hype!! They're much smaller looking than I expected. Yes, I read the dimensions. They just have a smaller look to them, being so low to the ground, having a shallow seat and thinner arms. My husband is 6'0 and he looks like he's sitting on a toilet with his knees folded up out in front of him because it's so low to the ground!! Lol!! Also, the color is not true black, rather an "ashy" black. It doesn't don't rock like a normal wood rocking chair. It's hard to describe but I'll just say it doesn't go back and forth but an inch or two and it doesn't feel smooth. ( hope that makes sense). I will say that it's easy to put together and the no maintenance thing is appealing if it works out that way.Everything considered, I would advise looking for another chair. On a side note*** If you do purchase from Amazon, please watch the price for a while first. I bought 2 of these and in less than a week the price dropped $40 and they wouldn't adjust the price.

Easy to assemble and sturdy
My spouse wanted two rocking chairs for the front porch and we saw some at Lowe's for $359. I didn't understand why they were so expensive and was told that they were polywood like Trex lumber which I am familiar with. SO, I looked here and found the Teak ones for $219 each.My thoughts are that they sit a little low for my taste even though I'm only 5'9" and the seat back would feel more comfortable if it leaned back just a few more degrees. The seat is fairly straight and doesn't really conform to your rear or legs that well. In addition, these chairs looked a fair amount shorter than the ones at Lowe's.After researching a little further, I realized that these are the "Presidential" models and the ones I saw at Lowe's were the "Jefferson" models which are sold on Amazon as well. The difference being that the width and seat height and depth are virtually the same but the back is about 5 inches taller on the Jefferson. The Jefferson model does conform more to your legs both side to side and front to back. The overall look and design is different as well. I would say from having sat in both now that the Jefferson is slightly more comfortable but not $140 more comfortable to me but to each his own.As for build and quality, I was a little apprehensive about buying these what with them having a high plastic content and being a "rocking" chair and I can't comment on long term issues but once assembled, they seemed very sturdy and they were extremely easy to assemble. It took me about 30 minutes to put together one of them while taking my time. The chairs come in 9 pieces with 16 screws, a t-handled hex bit for manual assembly and a hex bit for a drill/driver. The holes are easy to align and I used my drill to drive them 90% of the way and the t-handle to do the final tightening. I was afraid that the drill might strip out the holes if I used it to tighten all the way. The chairs came well packaged and the material should last forever if kept clean and not abused.Ultimately, I think I would have liked the colored ones or white ones a little better than the teak simply because you expect those to be a solid color whereas the wood colored ones tend to make you think there should be some color variation like real wood. Again though, for the price difference, I'm fine with what I've got.The only thing I might suggest is adding seating cushions like what is shown in the short video with the pictures. The design could be more comfortable but overall I'm happy with the product and price and more importantly, my spouse is happy.

These chairs are great, in terms of comfort and care
These chairs are great, in terms of comfort and care. Wash off easily and it doesn't matter if they are in the rain or sun. Also sturdy enough to stay upright through heavy winds we get along with our Florida thunderstorms.I bought five of these, all through Amazon Warehouse. All have been in like-new condition. I included a picture of one assembled on my front porch, with a green lizard hanging out on the side of the arm! :-)A few cautions. First: assembly is easier with two people. I put the first one together myself, the rest with my nephew. Since there are five parts that need to line up - pretty much simultaneously - it's helpful to have an extra pair of hands. I would estimate each one took ten to fifteen minutes to put together. I did use my own allen wrench bit for my drill, as the one provided seemed to slip. I can't estimate how long these would take to put together with the included hand wrench!Second: it is pretty obvious from the diagrams that that longer part of the rocker's runners (the curved parts) go in back, but still be careful about that. You might also need to flex the runner while assembling to attach it to the upright part. (I had to do this on two of my five.)Third: Some of these came with twelve longer screws, and four shorter. Others came with eight longer screws, and eight shorter. Just be sure, if you get more than one, that you sort these out and follow the directions that accompany the chair. (There were appropriate directions that came with each, depending on the number of each type of screw.)Finally, nowhere did I see a caution that the "back" of the chair (the part with the four vertical slats) has a front and back. However, if you look carefully, you will notice you can see the tips of the staples showing through on the cross piece (see picture). Honestly, I assembled the first one, and sat in it for about a month, and never noticed. It was only while assembling the fourth or fifth that I noticed a difference. I now have two of the five with the staples showing in front. I will have to get around to switching those some day...All in all, a great, comfortable, low-maintenance rocker that I will probably hand down to my (as yet unborn) grandchildren!

20 YEAR WARRANTY AND MADE IN THE USA! WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR?
Great high quality rocking chair that will last a very long time. The chair is very solid and the material it is made from should be able to withstand many years of weather and abuse. No worrying about it fading from the sun or the paint peeling. I noticed numerous complaints about the fasteners and instructions but I didn't have any issues. The fasteners are heavy duty and I even took a picture of the instructions which are only 3 steps. My other picture shows all the parts before it is assembled. It took me a total of 30 minutes to assemble each chair. What more could you ask for than a 20 year warranty and made in the USA!

It rocks
Looks just like the picture, very sturdy and feels like it will last a long time. I have a cushion on it for added comfort, not as smooth rocking as some old fashioned rockers but definitely does the job and just as good as others I've tried lately.Highly recommend a mallet and a helper to assemble, it will fit together but you may have to swear at it a bit. :)

Follow directions and no problem
Great product, the quality is evident. Instructions are actually very clear and easy to follow and I installed alone. Yes it would be quicker with 2 people but also one person not a problem. Do not tighten all the screws while still lining up other pieces.. I used a powered driver to speed up screwing BUT make sure to then switch to the provided tool to hand tighten the screws for final torque as you do not want to over tighten and strip. My only complaint is that I ordered two chairs and the second has not arrived yet, hopefully today.Update, second chair arrived. The one side of the chair back did not have any pilot holes. Note the first chair had pilot holes on both sides of back piece while the second chair had pilot holes only on one side of the back rest and so made my own pilot holes with a drill. This worked like a charm and no issues putting together. There must have been an over sight at the fabrication plant.

Ne berce pas très bien
Très belle, facile à assembler, matériau de grande qualité mais malheureusement elle ne berce pas très bien. Ça peut dépendre aussi de mon plancher de véranda.
