The trigger control is sensitive which is great. When comparing the 15QMAX to my buddies' Cornwell 2138 3/8 stubby (as well as the 1/2" Aircat 1055), the IR was not as loud and took a little longer to remove lug nuts from a 3/4 ton axle but I won't be using it for that. When compared to the IR Tit. 2115, the QMAX is not as loud, 1" shorter and slightly thicker but had a cheaper price. I chose the QMAX because it was light, quiet, and hopefully the quality will match my 2131. This stubby has the ergonomics, fit & finish, and smooth high-quality feel & NVH that I've come to expect from my 2131qt and 2235qtiMAX impacts. The only reason for 4 stars is that when I shop for a stubby, I'm probably buying it to get into the tightest, tiniest places possible, and this guy is larger in every dimension than my 1/2" Astro 1822. Now, I bought this to replace an el-cheapo 3/8" long-nose airgun, so that wasn't a particular concern in my case, but be aware of that when you're comparing.
